C2 Piece of land

"Ethan's point of view,"

"Miss, why should I hire you?" Without looking at her resume, I questioned the girl who was seated in front of me.

Since seven in the morning, I have been sitting in my office and searching for a knowledgeable financial advisor for my company's finance division.

Because of my stupid and careless P.A., although I had made it plain to Steve that only men should apply for this post, I've been wasting my valuable time by interviewing a tonne of pointless and annoying girls since the morning.

"I can help you out a lot in terms of efficiency. I possess a variety of talents that would set me apart. I'd rather show my skills than describe them. Please allow me the chance to let the quality of my work speak for itself."

Oh crap, here comes another cocky female candidate.

"Wao. Miss Green, you're saying that your actions speak louder than your words."

I didn't want to waste my time reading her resume, but after hearing her arrogant response, I couldn't resist interrogating her further.

"Indeed, Mr. Woods," she replied, swaying in her chair toward my table.

I knew exactly what kind of job Miss Green was asked to perform in my office by the look of lust in her eyes and the sultry smile on her face.

"Get out."

"What?"

That girl's face abruptly took on a perplexed expression.

"I told you to leave my office immediately, Miss Green, and I have no habit of repeating myself."

Because I've been conversing with so many women, I've already grown frustrated. The woman sitting in front of me is currently getting on my nerves by having me keep repeating my words.

"Mr. Woods, insulting me in this way won't get me out of your office. I can accuse you of molesting me right now if I want to."

Girls' threats, oh my god.

I listened to her and gave her a disapproving look.

She smiled triumphantly as she noticed how I had instantly become calm.

She got up from the chair that was in front of me, and she was ready to sit back down on my bottled-up rage.

"Miss Green, do you have any hearing issues?

Get out of here; I ordered you to." I yelled violently as I slammed my hand down on the desk.

"How dare you speak to me in this manner, Mr. Woods?"

"Steve came right away to my cabin." I dialed his extension to handle her tantrums.

I find girls' temper tantrums very annoying.

"Mr. Woods, what occurred?" He entered in my office fixing his glasses, like he don't have any idea about what's going on here.

"My cabin needs to be immediately cleared of this jerk."

"Mr. Woods, you will pay a severe price for disrespecting me."

"Just keep quiet.

You can't harm me even if you want to, because I'm Ethan Woods, and I don't back down from challenges.

I can squish you between my fingers."

With my eyes, I fire the dragger at Steve.

He is fully aware of what I want to say to him right now.

"Mr. Woods, Your Pineapple Juice." Steve has secretly brought a sipper of pineapple juice with him, knowing well that it is the only thing that will cool the blaze of my wrath.

"I gave you clear instructions, so I don't understand why you called a female candidate for an interview for such an important job in the organization."

My frustration levels were already high, and my tie was feeling like a noose around my throat.

"Mr. Woods In the world of finance today, women are faring much better."

"Oh, seriously?" Steve gulped his last words along with his saliva after noticing my ferocious look.

"No woman in the world can perform in finance better than a man.

Women have little business experience."

I took the sipper in my hands and moved toward my gaming area.

"Mr. Woods, your next meeting will begin in a half-hour." Somehow, Steve got the word out.

"Steve, you've already caused me a lot of frustration since the morning; now give me some space to calm down."

"But everyone in the room is waiting for you, Mr. Woods."

"Steve, I promise you that today is your last day working in wood's construction if you irritate me any further or provide any negative news."I warned him.

"Sorry, Mr. Woods," Steve said in a terrified tone after adjusting his glasses.

"Now get out of my way." I get my coat off the couch and straighten my tie.

"John, please display the project report for me." As I stared at the screen, I asked in an authoritative tone.

"Mr. Woods, our team has purchased practically everywhere in the area we'd chosen for the new project, but they haven't been able to track down the owner of the land that will be crucial to its success."

"I want this land by all means. Therefore, you guys came here to show the progress report on what?"

On the projector in front of me,the map of the new project for our company was open.

The entire projector's screen was covered in Wood's construction logo, but the red-painted ground in the center kept drawing my eyes.

Who is the land's owner, whose whereabouts have remained so much a mystery that my team and I could not track him down?

"Mr. Woods, we'll soon learn who owns this property." John gave me a comforting glance.

"If there is even a tiny delay in commencing this project because of any negligence or foolishness or if any kind of difficulty arises, you know the outcome after that, don't you, John?

You know well that I dislike living on false expectations."

I spoke sternly to John, threatening him.

"Absolutely, Mr. Woods." John sucked on his lips and shook his head.

"Now that you've done that, it would be preferable to swiftly show the fruits of your labor than to squander my valuable time in this pointless conversation." I left the meeting room, unbuttoned my coat, and returned to my office.
