Shelly and Pat just came up to Herrera's Modelling Agency on the fourth floor of the building. The secretary ushered us into a moderate- sized office.Maganda ang interior.Feminine na feminine.This is Mrs. Kim Ocampo Herrera's office.Ito ang nagma-manage ng runway models department.Asawa ang babae ng isa sa may-ari ng agency.The Hererra brothers own this agency.From what she heard lahat ng mga ito super yummy (according to Pat). She hasn’t seen anyone of them yet kasi kahit model siya, she is not into good-looking men. She knows na most of them are unfaithful .Lalo na siguro ang Herrera brothers,they have money,power and good looks. She is pretty sure nagbibilang ang mga ito ng babae.The oldest of the three is married to Mrs.Kim.So yung dalawa probably are considered two of the most eligible bachelors sa buong Pilipinas.

" Please have a seat po.Mrs. Herrera will be with you in a moment.My phone call lang siya in the other office." Her secretary told them.

"Excited ka na ba bestie? I heard she is really nice and accommodating.I am sure pag nakita ka niya go na go na tayo sa pirmahan ng contract." Said Pat. “Hay,kelan kaya ako magiging kasing-ganda mo at sexy? Super ganda mo talaga kahit wala kang make-up.” Dagdag nito as she looks at her.

She is in a one-piece above the knee pink dress na off-shoulder which is a good match with her ecry stilletos.She has very minimal make-up. As much as possible, she wants to have a bare face pag wala din pictorial.

" Don't expect too much,Pat. From what I know,talagang picky sila sa mga models nila.They should be and they must be.They are one of the best, for crying out loud." Shelly commented.

"Basta positive ako na magugustuhan ka nila.Para ka naman walang tiwala sa self mo niyan."

"O sige na, we can do it! If we can't, its not meant to be,sabi nga ng iba." She replied to Pat with a wink.

They were still smiling at each other ng may isang petite na babae ang lumabas from an adjoining room.She is wearing all black. Black silk long-sleeves top , black jeans and black flat shoes. She is very pretty.Maybe she is in her late 30's. She has long straight hair na lampas balikat.

The woman let out a sunny smile as she extended her right hand to Pat first.

"Hi! You must be Miss Patricia Sandoval! Nice to meet you.I am Mrs. Kim Herrera.You can call me Miss Kim.Drop the Mrs.It makes me feel older." She smiled lightly.

Then she suddenly gazed at Shelly warmly. "And I belive that you are Shelly Fernandez,the most promising model in town.You deserve to be considered as one.You look breathtaking!" she exclaimed as she lovingly took her hand.

"Nice to meet you Miss Kim.You are so sweet to say that." She told her while shaking hands with her.

"Wait till my brother-in-law sees you. He has an eagle eye when it comes to very pretty women! But don't worry,hindi ka naman lugi sa kanya." Miss Kim said na nakangiti pa din na hindi na lang pinansin ni Shelly.

"Please do sit down so we can talk about the details of the contract." She pointed to the chairs in front of her desk while walking to her own swivel chair.

" I believe that you have a lot of experiences in ramp modeling.According to your portfolio,dun ka nag-start di ba?" she asked as she scans her portfolio and Shelly just nodded.The woman is so friendly to think na hindi basta basta ang position nito sa company nila.

"You started when you were 16.Well, that's good.It's really better to start young so you'll be honed to be a super model at an early age. And as far as I can see Shelly,you are a promising super model.You are actually on your way.And doing jobs for Herrera's Modelling Agency will be a big plus. I don't see any problems.I believe you are what we need.You see, a sports wear is going to be launched in 2 weeks time.You are perfect for this project. Mostly pictorials muna then you have to appear in some catwalks at certain venues.You will work for us for 2 years if you choose to be with us. Then if everything goes well,I don't see any problem why we shouldn't renew the contract. Is that okay with you? Intresado ka ba?" Miss Kim looked at Shelly intently with a smile.

Sasagot na sana siya but the older woman spoke again.

"Nga pala, there is one more thing I have to add ,before I forget. Actually once I give my approval, wala ng problema but for formality sake,we have to wait for Jake's signature.He is the youngest sa Herrera brothers and definitely the hottest. But I am sure that he will definitely approve of my choice this time." She said with a playful grin while she glanced at me.

Hmmm.Hot and eligible daw yung Jake? Well,she is not interested in him. Ayaw nya sa gwapo lalo na if mayaman at powerful.She feels these kind of men only play with women.She doesn't want to be a hunky rich man's amusement..But she needs this opportunity.She will do her best to avoid that Jake Herrera.She finally nodded, " I'm in Miss Kim."sagot niya.

"Good,very good!" Miss Kim said with delight.

"I will ask Hanna, my secretary to prepare all the necessary documents and we'll seal the deal. Mamayang gabi ang balik ni Jake from Bangkok so he'll have time to leaf through the contract before we close the deal tomorrow. Sabi ko naman it's just formality.I have the say here." Miss Kim grinned and slowly stood and bent forward to shake hands again with her and Pat.

It has been 5 minutes or so after lumabas si Shelly with her friend.Hmmm..I wonder how Jake would react once he sees her.She is something else.Ang ganda niya pero I didn't see any arrogant attitude and fussiness. She wasn't even demanding. Nice,very nice. Gorgeous inside and out .Just what Jake needs .His family and I are tired of the women he dates. Masyadong maaarte,social climbers and patay na patay sa kanya.Well,I don't blame them.The Herrera brothers are all drop dread gorgeous men.My husband Thomas is the eldest.Dating womanizer but napatino ko.I smiled to myself as I remember kung pano siya natataranta pag alam niyang nagseselos na ako.

Ang middle child ay si William.Engaged kay Sandra.An aspiring actress.Mahilig sa magagandang babae ang magkakapatid.I used to do modelling jobs as well .But mostly print ads lang.I am too short to be a ramp model,unlike Shelly.I remember her sweet face and to die for body.I can't wait pag nagkita sila ni Jake.I hope my brother-in-law won't be too aggressive.Baka matakot si Shelly or worst,baka hindi pa siya magustuhan.She seems to be not interested in gorgeous and rich men..but we'll see!

I checked my watch.It's 10 PM.My eyes are ready to drop.Trish sorted of threw herself at me while we were in Thailand.She suggested that it will be better if we stay in the same room and at the same hotel.Malapit daw ang venue ng photo shoot niya sa hotel where I'll stay.Well, I enjoyed our nights together but I don't usually stay interested with one woman after more than a week. I am not even sure now if she really had some photo shoots in Bangkok or it's just her way to get into my bed.. I didn't see anyone so I went straight to my room.As I was going out of the shower,I heard my phone ringing.I didn't want to answer it but I saw that it's Kim.

"Kim! What's up?" I asked tiredly.Hindi ko pa din matiis ang sister-in-law ko.She has been my confidante.She knows lahat ng kalokohan ko.Come to think of it,madalas siya pa tumutulong sa akin to get rid of my women.She has been very honest na wala siyang nagustuhan sa mga babae na I go out with.

"Hi Jake! How's your flight?I know you must be worn-out but I just called to remind you that you have to be early at the office tomorrow.You need to sign something.Don't forget to set your alarm." Utos pa niya in her quite demanding but sweet voice.

“Ganun ba talaga ka-importante yang mga papeles na yan at you need to remind me again.You called me just this afternoon about that,." I sighed.

"Well..let's just say that this will definitely change your love life" tila nakangiting sabi nito.

I chuckled. " Since when did I ever allow you to meddle with women I want to date?I appreciate your help when I want to get rid of them but I know I will be in big trouble if I let you find women for me.Baka mapikot pa ako." I teasingly told her.

"Hmp! You know I am only after your welfare Jake,you are not getting any younger.You are already 30 years old.You have to be serious about women and think about starting a family.What you need is someone who is not only beautiful but also smart.Para hindi magpaloko sayo.And most important is,hindi easy to get.Yang mga babae mo makita ka pa lang laglag na lahat sa knila.” Kim snorted.

“You make it sound as if I'm ancient.Ganun na ba talaga kalala ang lifestyle ko?Don't worry,I am actually getting tired of it.Lie-low muna ako." Nakangising sagot ko.

Silence.

"Is that you talking Mr.Jake the yummiest Herrera?"she asked,as if not believing me.

"Jake yummiest Herrera? Where did you get that freaking name for me?" kunot ang noon a tanong ko.

"I heard it from our female employees. It suits you though."she giggled.

I sighed. "Much as I want to continue our chat sis-in-law,I really need to rest. Not unless okay lang na ma-late ako bukas?"

'Don't you dare Jake!" then she hang up.
