C16 Merchant Shop Exchange

The field was enveloped in silence.

Lee Ziming's smile solidified on his face as he stared at Soong Yang, who stood mere inches away. Despite exerting considerable force, his punch couldn't land. Soong Yang effortlessly pinned his fist with just two fingers, preventing any further advance.

What in the world was happening?

Lee Ziming gaped at Soong Yang, his eyes wide with disbelief. The strength in Soong Yang's two fingers seemed to match the full force of his punch. To Lee Ziming, those fingers felt like colossal pillars, unyielding to his utmost effort.

This wasn't some staged drama, yet the scene was unbelievably theatrical!

Everyone's jaws dropped in astonishment.

With a gentle extension of his other hand, Soong Yang tapped Lee Ziming's forehead, sending him stumbling backward as if struck by a vehicle. Lee Ziming skidded across the ground, finally coming to a halt, his appearance now disheveled.

Lee Ziming was helped to his feet, his eyes wide with terror as he regarded Soong Yang. His previous defiance had melted into fear; only through this direct encounter did he realize Soong Yang's formidable presence.

Soong Yang beckoned with a wave of his hand. "Come here."

In that moment, fear took hold of Lee Ziming. He remained at a distance, too afraid to approach.

Soong Yang closed the gap between them, prompting Lee Ziming to nervously swallow.

"Now, I believe I've earned the right to be with Mengmeng, and no one should object. Don't you agree?" Soong Yang spoke with a calm authority.

"Yes!" Lee Ziming bobbed his head energetically in agreement.

Soong Yang gave a nod of approval.

Just then, Xia Yumeng hurried over, a sheen of sweat on her brow. Upon seeing Lee Ziming next to Soong Yang, she burst out indignantly, "Lee Ziming! Don't you dare bully my big brother, or you'll have me to answer to!"

Lee Ziming was on the verge of tears.

He harbored a sense of injustice but remained silent, feeling the vice-like grip of Soong Yang's hand on his shoulder.

With a resolute nod, Lee Ziming vowed, "I promise, there'll be no more conflicts with him from now on."

Upon hearing his words, Xia Yumeng let out a huff, looped her hand through Soong Yang's arm, and turned to walk away.

"The anchor has scored a beauty!"

"Who knew the anchor was that impressive!"

"What a sweet girl!"

"The anchor is on fire!"

Lee Ziming returned to the classroom and quietly took a seat next to Soong Yang.

Soong Yang, lost in thought, engaged in a conversation with the system.

"System, activate the marketplace!"

"The marketplace is now active. Host can exchange popularity points and gifts for items within the marketplace," the system announced.

As the voice of the system faded, Soong Yang was presented with a dazzling space filled with numerous shelves.

These shelves, however, were transparent, displaying a variety of items.

On one shelf, Soong Yang spotted a tiny card.

The obedience card was a single-use item. The subject would follow your commands completely for a duration of 30 minutes, at the cost of 1,000 popularity points.

His gaze wandered to other items: Memory Water, Haste Shoes, Charm Perfume, and more.

Among the premium items were Flying Wings, an Invisibility Cloak, and even secret martial arts scrolls.

To acquire these, he would need popularity points. The Flying Wings, for instance, demanded a staggering one million points, which astounded Soong Yang.

Still, there were lower-tier items he could afford.

Soong Yang couldn't find where to exchange gifts. After a lengthy search, he finally spotted a square box tucked away in an unassuming corner at the marketplace entrance—the Popularity Value Exchange Machine.
