C1 Mr Garner Please Marry Me!

The night was dark, and the rain was pouring down.

Rosie dragged her suitcase to the entrance of the Garner family's villa. She stood there for two hours.

Two hours ago, she had just escaped from the funeral parlor and taken away her mother's ashes. She had no other choice but to come here.

Apart from Willard, who had once thrown out an olive branch to her, there was no one else she could rely on.

The dignified young lady of the Harrisington family, the most famous socialite in the upper class of Oqrolis, had left Warren. She was only a young lady in her twenties, shallow and ignorant. Other than her stubbornness, she had nothing else.

The raindrops slid across his face. It was too cold. The autumn rain was like ice beads, and it hurt his face. However, compared to the people from the Harrisington family, this pain was insignificant.

The car's lights shone through the curtain of rain onto the carved door. Rosie was so cold that her numb mind suddenly woke up.

She rushed over to stop the car. She did not care whether the car could stop or not, nor did she care if she would be injured. No matter how bad it was, it would not be worse than what she was feeling now.

The car stopped. The driver held an umbrella and came in front of her. "Our master asked you to come over."

She blinked and let the rain droplets roll down her eyelashes, revealing a stubborn and clear expression.

The car door opened from the inside. Willard's face was kind, and his expression was profound. His wrinkled face was filled with a faint smile as he looked at her. "You came to find me so late. Have you made up your mind?"

"Yes, I have thought about it."

The raindrops on the umbrella made a crisp and cold sound. Her answer was not hesitant at all.

Willard smiled, not surprised at all. "If I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have done what I did. It's not too late to turn back now."

Rosie bit her lip. Her face was pale and bloodless. "Nathan hates me, and he has a woman he likes. Even if I agree, he won't marry me."

"You're not a child without confidence."

"Not without confidence, but I don't want to. I... hate your grandson."

Hate?

A trace of surprise flashed across Willard's old face. "He is handsome and talented. As far as I know, there are countless women in Oqrolis who want to marry him. Besides being a few years older than you, he seems to be a rare talent."

Willard was proud of his grandson, but he heard from the mouth of this down-and-out girl in front of him that she hated him.

Interesting.

Rosie pursed her lips. "Are you calling him ten years older?"

"Old Mr. Garner, your grandson is not only older, but he also has a bad eye. I can't tolerate this."

As she spoke, her eyes focused as if she had made a decision. "If you insist on marrying me into the Garner family, why don't you... marry me?"

Willard, "..."

What?

Hahaha...

The coughing and laughter made Willard laugh for a long time. He never laughed like this before, and he never expected that this girl would say such bold words.

"What are you laughing at?"

The hand holding the suitcase tightened a little. She was a little annoyed, but more than that, she was uncertain.

The old man restrained his laughter, "You are a heartless person. To take revenge on your father, you are willing to marry me, who is half buried in the ground?"

Rosie slightly raised her chin, her gaze was firm and calm, "I want power. Instead of tangling with your grandson, marrying you is the fastest way."

In front of this old man, she did not hide anything at all. She was so straightforward that it was shocking, even though she had no chance of winning in her heart.

In his life, Willard had seen all kinds of women who wanted to cling to power, but he had never seen a pure girl like her. She clearly said the most utilitarian words, but it made people feel that she was so open.

The old man pushed the door wider, "Good girl, you must be cold. Get in the car first and warm up with me. We can talk about other things later."

It was indeed very cold...

Rosie looked down at her wet clothes, "My clothes are all wet. They will dirty your car."

In the past, she was so proud, but now, she was so inferior. It was no different from falling into the dust.

Willard smiled indifferently, "You are the future mistress of the Garner family. Don't be so shallow. A car is nothing."

The mistress of the Garner family?

Such an alluring position.

Rosie nodded and looked at him nervously. "So, Mr. Garner, are you going to marry me?"
