C6 Chapter 6

Heaven POV

Time check, 8 pm. It's time to go to sleep. Before going to bed, I look at my camera. I am taking a photography course. I love taking pictures of any moment. Sometimes, I think that if I did not capture the moment, I might forget about it.

I look at the picture on the camera. Mostly, it was my best friend's shot. Oh, I forgot. I heard Sky's laugh earlier. I forgot to capture that part. Aish! It can be evidence to show Axel. SO he can see that I am slowly progressing.

I am sleeping peacefully when my bladder is kicking me again. Simply saying "you need to pee".

I slowly got up and went to the bathroom. Finally, I can sleep well now. But, I need to drink water so I went downstairs and got a glass of water. As I finish the thing I need to do, I went upstairs.

Suddenly, I saw a shadow. Wait, shadow?

"Mom? Is that you?" I shouted.

I went to my mom's bedroom. I saw her sleeping peacefully with dad back-hugging her.

If that's not mom... Maybe it's a thief!? I slowly get the broom as I follow where that shadow came from.

Hey! it's my room.

I open the door and look around the corner of my room. Hmm, there's no one here. Maybe I just imagine things. I went back to bed, ready to sleep but then...

"Heaven~" I hear someone calling my name.

What was that?? Did someone just call me? Or am I imagining things again?

"Heaven~" I heard it again

Huh? It is real. Wait... I am all alone here! I covered my ears. I need to sleep. Sleep Heaven, sleep! You are hallucinating again. There is no ghost in here okay? Your house was blessed remember?

"Heaven~”

"aaaaahhhhh!" I shouted. Suddenly, someone covers my mouth.

"Yah! Don't shout." That voice whisper.

Wait. It's familiar. I turn around.

"Sky?"

"Scaredy cub."

"what are you doing here?! How did you enter?"

There's a lot of questions running through my head. It's Sky. She is here, In the middle of the night. I look at my clock. It's midnight, yet she's here?

"I used my broomstick and fly." She told me with a cold voice.

So it's true? The rumors were true? I feel my blood has left me and, then I look pale again.

Wait, she's just kidding me, right? I look around, and I find the broomstick, maybe that's what she uses to come here.

"You really believe me?" she looks at me.

I nodded.

"silly." She chuckles.

I pointed at the broom.

"Is that what you used?"

She looks at the area where I pointed. then looks at me with her scary eyes.

"Yes."

I knew it! Aishh I'm doomed. Then I suddenly receive a spank on my forehead.

"What was that for?!" I ask while touching my forehead. It hurts.

"For believing easily, you were the one who brought that broom for assuming that someone who might be a theft, enters your room."

"oww. Is that so? Sorry hehe." I sheepishly uttered.

You’re stupid, Heaven. So stupid of you. You just make her think that she can scare you easily like that. Aisshh.

"Wait, why are you here?" I ask. I'm confused as why is she in my place in the middle of the night and inside my room without entering our door.

"I can't sleep," she said.

"Yahh!! Don't tell me you'll sleep here? What if I might do something huh?"

"Don't shout. I'll kill you." I immediately zipped my mouth. "I have no plan on sleeping in here either. What if you peed your bed while sleeping and dreaming about a ghost?" She continued and chuckle.

"Yaaahh!! Of course not." I hastily denied.

"Okay, if you say so. Can you drive?" she asked.

"Err... I know how to, but I don't have a license yet."

"Let's go," she commanded.

"Where are we going?" I asked. Is she out of her mind!? it's already late ugh~

"Just get your car. I'll wait for you outside." She then jumps out of my window. So that explains how she entered my room.

I hurriedly get the car keys.

"So can you tell me now where we're going?" I asked her as I start the car engine.

"I don't know. Anywhere."

Great. Late-night rides and nowhere to go. Just great. Aishh I am sleeping peacefully before this girl bothers me. She doesn’t have any idea where we should go, our trip becomes a long and silent trip. No one dares to talk. So I better break the ice.

"Hmm... you told me, you can't sleep. Why?"

"Insomnia."

"Ohh. Hmm, wanna grab something to eat? What do you want? My treat."

"Nah. I'm fine. Just bring me somewhere where I can refresh my mind." Hmm, maybe it's really hard for her to sleep. I'll bring her to a place I know and I have access to.

"We're here," I announced.

"Why are we here?" She curiously asked.

"You told me to bring you to a place where you can refresh your mind right? So here we are." I replied.

"But.." I cut her off and said,

"No buts. Just follow."

We were in an art Studio Company. It's my father's company actually, We can still enter here even it's late at night because I usually go here whenever I am stressed or just like her, I want to refresh my mind. Also, I do part-time here as a photographer to enhanced my skills. Dad also requests me to.

"you're here." the guard said.

"yup. We'll go in."

"Who's that girl?" He asks

“My friend,” I answered. We enter the elevator. I pressed the 5th floor. The elevator opened signaling we're on the fifth floor.

"What is this place?" she asks.

"It's my mini art studio," I answered as I insert the keys on the locked door.

"Wait here," I went to get my sketchpad and some colors.

"Let's go?" I told her.

She quietly followed me, I guide her to where I think she can release what's on her mind. We went to the rooftop of the building.

"We're here! let's sit here." I dust off the blocks where she'll suppose to sit.

"Why did you bring me here?" she asks.

"I often go here when I'm stress or sad. So I think it may help you too?"

"Thanks." That's all she said and smile. Smile, she smiles. Again, I forget to capture it.

"Why did you bring that?" she asks pointing at my sketchpad and a box full of colors.

"Oh, Yeah. Here." I gave it to her.
