Lance's consciousness was very hazy.

He saw a small boy standing in front of him. He looked to be about four or five years old. Behind the boy was a remote fishing village in England.

He soon remembered that this was the scene of his childhood.

He was only five at the time, and his mother was still alive. In his memory, his mother lived alone.
