C3 The Bow

How caught off guard?

Zillah had just reached the side door of the school when she raised her eyes and saw the luxury car parked at the intersection. Even if she had only seen it once, it was memorable enough. Not to mention, the gorgeous girl who had been cold and indifferent in class a moment ago was now bending over with a smile and talking to the person in the car. She did not look unapproachable at all.

Although she didn't know what the relationship between the two of them was, it was obvious from the way the man didn't get out of the car to talk to her that they weren't a couple. Since that was the case, it didn't conflict with Zillah, who often boasted that she was principled and never did anything. So, just like last time, Zillah decided to seize this opportunity. She skillfully put on a pure and innocent look and watched Flavia run over.

Just as she was about to reach him, the door opened and he was about to get in the car. To Zillah's surprise, he was already in front of her. She pretended to be in a hurry to catch up with him and gasped, "Teacher Ming, wait a minute."

The other party must have been very surprised as well. He took back his raised foot and asked, "What's the matter?"

Zillah asked brightly, pretending not to notice the frown on the other party's face. "Ms. Ming just said that my work is not emotional enough. Can you please tell me what's wrong? I really want to know."

Flavia looked at the flower-like girl in front of her. She had very intelligent eyes and looked so eager for knowledge, but this was exactly what Flavia hated, just like her stepmother. Who knew what was behind the face of an angel? Thinking of this, Flavia's voice became even colder. "I don't think I'm obligated to answer your questions."

Zillah's eyes dimmed visibly, as if she was a little surprised and embarrassed. She turned her head away, and her eyes happened to meet Novello's, who was looking at her from inside the car.

Seeing that the other party's misty eyes had suddenly widened in fear, Novello curled his lips in amusement. When he noticed Flavia's puzzled gaze, he did not try to hide it. "Long time no see, Student An."

"Alright, long time no see, Mr. Edwards." Zillah whispered and then glanced over with what she thought was a furtive glance. She was caught in the act and her face quickly turned bright red. Novello's interest had reached its peak. Before he could say anything, Flavia, who was beside him, asked first, "Do you know each other?"

Zillah moved her feet to leave, only to see Novello get out of the car and walk over from the other side. Under the surprised gazes of the two, he took Zillah's handbag. "Where are you going? I'll give you a ride."

Before Zillah could refuse, Novello had already put his handbag in the car. He held the door open in an inviting manner and looked at Zillah. His eyes were focused, and there was a gentle charm in them that young girls could not resist. Zillah pursed her lips and bent over to get into the car, pulling her clothes with her hands. After the soft sound of the door closing was heard, she heard the other party's voice, which had become slightly colder, say, "You can sit in the front." Flavia sneered. "Is this what Auntie meant by coming to pick me up? I didn't know that I was here to serve as a foil."

"If Miss Ming can come back under the banner of an old friend, why would you mind me giving a girl to you?"

"You!" Flavia looked at him in anger. "Old friend? That day at the old house, you didn't come either. What's the use of an old friend?"

Novello raised his eyebrows, "Since knowing it is useless to me, why do you have to ask me to come through the madame today? Miss Ming, I think we are both adults, so there is no need to make it so clear."

Flavia asked stubbornly, staring at the man in front of her, who was always so refined and unapproachable. "What if I have to ask?"

"Then I'll tell you that I'm not going to marry, and I'm not going to marry. Marriage has never been necessary to me, but whether I marry or not, you've never been my concern."

Flavia did not continue to be angry. Instead, she giggled and glanced at the figure behind the glass window. She regained her usual nobility and said, "In that case, I am not someone to be entangled with. However, the madame has been good to me since I was young. You won't stop us from contacting each other, will you?"

Novello had no intention of dwelling on the other party's intentions, and his patience was running out. With that, he got into the car.

The black Bentley drove away quickly, and Flavia smiled with determination. It seemed that Novello was not interested in the little girl. Otherwise, why would he say those words so boldly? It was just for fun. The little girl must be heartbroken. She was least worried about these so-called little things.

Zillah sad? There was no such thing. At this moment, she was not as heartbroken as Flavia thought she was. She had just been hugged onto her lap by a man with gentle yet strong strength. She was so scared that tears were streaming down her cheeks. She tried her best to swallow her cries of surprise. Zillah struggled in panic and asked, "Mr. Edwards, what, what are you doing?"

The driver in front of him understood, and the partition quickly rose. With one hand, Novello easily held the girl in his arms, while with the other, a large callused hand fell on the girl's face. "If you don't move, I won't do anything, or else..." His hands gradually moved to the bottom of the girl's collarbone and felt her trembling." Otherwise, how about unlocking it? "

Zillah followed Novello's finger and saw the bow tie on his jacket. Her eyes trembled, and a line of tears flowed out. Her voice became softer and softer, "Don't, I'll listen to Mr. Edwards."

The sound made Novello feel hot. His big hand moved to Zillah's face again, and his thumb wiped away the tear. "Why is your face so small, hmm?" The other hand on his waist also began to caress it gently, and his voice became even deeper, "Your waist is also quite thin."

Zillah was trembling in the man's arms, surrounded by the cold scent of the man's body. She was on the verge of crying, but she held back her fear and looked up into his eyes. "Mr. Edwards, what are you doing?"

Novello narrowed his eyes and grabbed Zillah's chin with his big hand. He said something that was not an answer to a question, "No one has ever left me alone for half a month. What do you think you should do?" Although Novello had long since forgotten about the girl who had once interested him before this meeting, that didn't mean he didn't care when he remembered.

Zillah's eyes widened slightly, "I-I never asked Mr. Edwards."

"Do what you have to do after taking my business card. What do you think I'm giving you my business card for?"

Zillah struggled twice, but was suddenly pushed to the side by Song Huyu. She saw him adjust the hem of his clothes, and his voice was no longer as gentle as before. "Where are you going?"

Zillah whispered the address of the studio, and for the rest of the day there was silence. It was only when she got out of the car that she heard him say, "I'll give you three days. I hope you can do what you have to do, my good girl."

Novello stared at the back of the other party as he walked into the building. He was graceful and moving, and then he thought of the slim waist he had just held and the pair of tear-filled eyes. They were clearly peach blossom eyes, but they were often very pure. Only by taking on lust could he not waste such a pair of good eyes.
