C10 The Return of Leyla — Jealousy Wears Lipstick
It was Leyla who returned first.
She showed up at a boutique in Nişantaşı, wearing orange lipstick and trouble in her eyes. Time had turned her hair shorter, her gaze longer, her waist slimmer. But her energy still pulled like gravity dipped in perfume.
“I heard about Talisa,” she said, voice flat but lips curled. “You still keeping score?”
It was meant to be a joke. But jokes have teeth.
That night, they slept together again—but it wasn’t the peach-and-rose petal night of the past. This time, Leyla moved with sharpness. Her tongue was urgent. Her hands searched for answers in places where once they only searched for joy.
“You moaned like that with him too?” she whispered.
“No,” she said lying!
But it didn’t matter. The scar was already drawn.
