C4 Chapter 4

It was morning, Serena was awake by now because of excitement she didn't even waste time in calling her friend Lucas because she wants to fix the robot as soon as possible.

After some rings Lucas picks up the phone "hey Serena! Morning!"

Serena chuckled at the other's hyper tone as she greeted him back "morning to you too Lucas, can you come to my house?"

Lucas looked outside of his room window and smiled "I'm coming, give me 20 minutes"

Serena smiled as she said "okay I'm waiting!" As she finished her sentence she hung up the phone and went to cook some butter and toast for her.

After finishing her breakfast Serena Took a wet towel And a bottle of Thinner and sat beside the robot, And dipped the towel in thinner and started cleaning him.

The robot's parts were new by seeing the shine after getting cleaned by thinner that made Serena think, why would someone throw a new latest model robot to get crushed? But anyway she cleaned the robot and now the robot was looking very new and cute. The robot had a silver and oval shape that made him look cuter, his hands were fluffy like a cushion. Serena couldn't help but squeal because the robot was just so cute.

Serena hears the doorbell as she knew who it was, she went to open the door and was met by Lucas "Ayoo Serena!!~" Lucas said as he gave her a tight hug, making her laugh a little.

Serena hugged back as she said "god you're so hyper everyday Lucas" she finished her sentence as they both broke the hug and laughed.

Serena And Lucas went inside as Serene offered him water and sat beside him, while Lucas spoke up gulping down the chilled water "So what was the reason that Your highness called me this early??"

Serena Chuckled at the other's sentence as she said "Come with me, I'll show you" as she walked upstairs to her room.

Lucas frowned in confusion as he just put the glass down and followed her "what are you gonna show me?" Lucas asked her as he was confused seeing the girl in front of her all of a sudden smiling when she clearly was sad yesterday.

Serena giggled knowing that her friend was dumb founded "patience Lucas" as she said this Lucas pouted, and Serena took him to her room seeing the robot sitting on Serena's bed Lucas couldn't believe that he was seeing The latest model from seven heaven.

"H-how!? When!? Serena elaborate!!" Lucas said in shock Making Serena giggles as she just went to the robot and held its hand "I found him in the crusher yesterday when I was coming back from robot park, He is not fully broken Lucas"

Lucas nodded slowly understanding the whole situation as he went to the other side of the robot and touched its wires that were seen because his arms were damaged "So you're saying, the latest model from seven heaven which yesterday launched was getting crushed?? Wow people seriously don't care about money do they?" Lucas said as he let out a dry chuckle and added afterwards "So what are you gonna do with this robot??"

Serena smiled before speaking "I want to fix this robot Lucas, I know it's going to be hard but..I want to bring this robot back to life his arc reactor is still working and it can help me fix him" as she looked at the robot which was still off because he was damaged inside and only his arc reactor was working but it was so slow too.

Lucas knew that Serena Wanted to fix this robot so she wouldn't be alone because after her mother's death she really needs someone to stay with her every time "Okay then Serena, whatever it takes I'll help you fix it, don't worry" Lucas smiled as he gave a light squeeze to Serena's hand making her smile.

After talking about the parts they needed to fix the robot Serena and Lucas went to the city to buy the parts. They both reached the place where second hand mecha parts sell "excuse me?" Serena said in a polite tone earning the attention of the sales robot there.

The robot Went to the girl and boy and asked "What do you want to buy?" Lucas took a step forward as he told the robot they wanted a fuse which was used in mecha's mind for keeping their memory card to work properly. The robot took Lucas to the fuse section where some people were buying things too.

Meanwhile Serena was finding the green chip she needed because the robot in her house needs a new green chip because it was damaged, green chip works as making the mecha a health care and kind companion to the owner.

"Hey Lucas, did you find the right fuse??" Serena said while walking towards the male who smiled and nodded, "did you find the green chip we need?"

Serena sighed sadly and shakes her head "no All the models of the chips are not updated"

Lucas sighed and patted her shoulder "it's alright we will go find it in another store" after saying this Serena smiled as Serena payed for the fuse and both went outside after the robot greeted them "Have a nice day"

Lucas And Serena walked some meters as they both saw a shop of only chips, motherboards etc. As Lucas looked at Serena and said "Let's see here, maybe we will find it here"

Serena nodded her head as they both walked inside the store and they were greeted by a old woman instead a robot "welcome kids"

Serene and Lucas looked at each other confused why there was not a robot on the sales counter but anyway they bowed and greeted the woman back "hii, aunty uh we wanted to know if you have the latest upgrade of green chip?"

The lady smiled before nodding, making Lucas and Serena happy As the woman went inside to take the green chip.

Serena's eyes landed on a photo of a teenage girl As she frowned because she had seen the girl in her school 1 week ago when she first joined, she didn't see the girl again because without telling any student the reason, school was closed for 2 weeks.

"Here, this is the chip you are finding right?" The woman said as she handed Lucas the green chip. Lucas smiled and said "yes aunty, thanks hey Serena we found it" Lucas frowned when he didn't got any response from the girl As he touched her shoulder "uh-huh? Oh sorry i was thinking something"

The lady noticed where Serena was looking as she smiled "it's my daughter, She left the house a week ago...because she said she wanted to live her life like she wanted with her mecha."

Lucas and Serena felt bad for the old lady and specially Serene since she had lost her mother not long ago as she said in a soft tone "don't worry aunty, one day your daughter will come back to you because I know having a mother is really good of a thing"

The lady chuckled and said "aw you're sweet, that chip is a gift from me because you made me feel a bit happy", Lucas couldn't believe that the woman was giving away the green chip just like that as Serena hugged the woman and thanked her "thank you auntie".

The lady hugged The girl back as Lucas was happy seeing her friend not depressed like before as the girl and boy bid their goodbyes and Walked back to Serena's House.

Serena opened the house as she and Lucas went inside and both plopped on the couch since they were so tired "Ah I don't think so I can drive back to my home today I'm so tired, Serena can I sleep over??"

Serena smiled as her head was resting back on the couch "Yeah sure there is a spare room you can use"

Lucas smiled as he went to bring water from fridge came with 2 bottles and passed one to the girl "Thanks" Serena said as both of them gulped down the whole chilled water as their throat was too dry by walking in sunlight since the trees are so less now the weather normally stays so hot, like 45° are normal now and all humans were used to it.

"Let's Start fixing the robot tomorrow. I'm soooo tired today and I really need a good sleep," Serena said as she let out a soft chuckle when Lucas agreed by rapidly nodding his head.

"Alright the spare room is on your left, meet you tomorrow Lucas" Serena said as she got up and smiled as both of them went to their rooms.

Serena plopped on her bed As the robot was Sitting on the chair beside her bed She smiled and said before drifting to dreamland "Tomorrow is a big day for me, and for you…" Saying this Serena closed her eyes and fell asleep because she was so tired.
