C5 Chapter 5

"Tomorrow is a big day for me, and for you…" Saying this Serena closed her eyes and fell asleep because she was so tired.

"Oh god Serena calm down!!" Lucas said before hiding his face inside the pillows, as he was getting annoyed by Serena's Excitement because she just woke him at 6 am in the morning because she can't wait to fix the robot.

Serena puffed her cheeks as she grabbed one pillow and started hitting him with it "wake up you sleepyhead!"

Lucas groaned as he hid himself inside the covers and said in annoyed tone "Serena give me 20 minutes more please"

Serena pouted "fine! But only 10 minutes, no more than that!"

Lucas chuckled "alright, now go"

Serena huffed and left the room to go make breakfast as she does know how to make food because everytime her mom cooked she would watch her.

Serena was cooking some French omelettes and Spaghetti with some meatballs While preparing fresh Orange juice that made her remember her mother, she sighed and shook her head telling herself to not be sad anymore.

"Alright, I'm here Serena jeez you ruined my beauty sleep" Lucas said with a fake angry look making Serena laugh.

"Beauty sleep?? Does that even help you, you monkey??" Serena said as she was laughing hard, Lucas rolled his eyes and mimicked her friend "ohh beauty sleep?? Does that even help you?, ah yes it does! And if I'm a monkey, then you're a donkey" Lucas said as he sat down on the chair.

Serena gasped being dramatic "you called me donkey?!", Lucas smirked at her and said "I did so?"

Serena shoved a whole meatball in Lucas's mouth as he choked and said "yah! You idiot!".

Serena laughed once again and sat down too "okay okay I'm sorry, let's eat now I had a hard time making all this, be lucky you're getting food made by me" She finished her sentence as she served Spaghetti and omelettes in plates and passed him the plate and Lucas once again said "be lucky? Or be unlucky?"

Serena got annoyed "shut up you monkey"

Lucas chuckled and spoke up before digging in to the food "alright sorry"

They both started eating while having a small talk on how they are going to fix the robot and what things they need because yesterday when they went to shops they could only find the fuse and green chip.

After a while they both were done eating, Serena was washing dishes and Lucas was wiping off the remaining water on the utensils even though Serena said it was fine she could do it alone but Lucas insisted that he doesn't want his friend to work alone "alright now we're done! Let's go and start fixing your robot" Lucas said as he wiped down his hands in a soft white towel.

Serena nodded her head as both of them went upstairs to Serena's room "Okay Lucas first Let's take him on bed and lay him carefully"

Lucas nodded and went to grab the robot, he lifted the robot in arms as he groaned because the robot was so heavy as it was all made of vibranium metal "oh god it's so fucking heavy!!"

Serena shook her head as she was setting the wires and computers for data and programming and all "just go and lay the robot Lucas You're whining like a little sheep"

Lucas rolled his eyes as he laid down the robot on the bed as he let out a deep breath "whew! Too heavy, anyway bring the cords and electric screwdriver"

Serena passed Lucas the cords and the electric screwdriver, Lucas started to open the robots head nutbolts and chest.

Serena connected the cords into the robots motherboards and then started checking the program if it was still working or not "its gonna at least take 20 minutes to get proceed, let's dismantle the damaged arm and other parts"

Lucas nodded as both of them started to loose the bolts on the damaged parts such as arms, legs, eye balls etc.

"Looks like we again have to go to the store to buy the body parts" Serena said as they throwed the damaged body parts in a corner.

Lucas nodded as he wiped his hands that were covered in grease "then should we go right now?"

"No we will go in afternoon, let's first clean the insides of the robot"

Serena and Lucas took towels and dipped them in thinner and started cleaning the insides of the robot because his insides were all greased up, as they both took the damaged wires out.

"Programming check up done" A voice came from the computers getting the attention of The girl and boy. As Serena went to the computer and checked the programs, yes they were still working because the robot's motherboard was still stable.

"Is it still working??" Lucas asked while wiping the grease off from the robot's inner parts.

"Yes it is working, the motherboard is still working stable and the other boards too but I guess we need to find some more hard drives and I'm gonna prepare a..new program that will be the most advanced version right now" Serena said as he glanced at the robot.

Lucas got confused as he asked "what new programming?? Are you sure you can do that? Making programs are very tough"

Serena nodded her head as Lucas shrugged thinking if she is confident in doing it then she will do it.

Serena and Lucas were on Lucas's Electric bike because they were going far to find good enough parts for the robot as Lucas asked "Hey Serena, I was thinking why not bring the robot to my house to fix him? I have a lab that has all equipment you'll need"

Serena's eyes lit up as she looked at Lucas who was driving "really!? You have a lab and you're telling me now!?"

Lucas chuckled nervously "uhm I forgot??"

Serena hitted him on back as she rolled her eyes before speaking "alright then, tonight let's take the robot to your home"

After 35 minutes of driving they both reached a shop where Robotic parts were getting sold.

Serena and Lucas got off the bike as Lucas Pressed a button locking the bike and went inside with Serena.

They were greeted by a female robot which said "Welcome to Kaneari robotics, what should I help you with?"

Serena smiled before speaking "can you show us some latest Robot arms, legs and if you have eyeballs too?"

The robot nodded as she took Serena and Lucas to the body parts section and started showing them the latest designs.

"Hey Serena I think this is okay" Lucas said while he showed Serena a arm that was just launched from seven heaven.

Serena nodded as they bought all the things they needed like, 2 legs with latest model, arms, eyeball with the colour of electric blue and some silicone for making the face of the robot and upper torso parts.

Serena and Lucas paid half half for all the things they bought and went out after getting the greet by the female robot "thank you for coming here"

Serena and Lucas got on the bike as Lucas started driving back to The girl's home while Serena was thinking what type of feature should she give to the robot.

Lucas noticed Serena as he asked "what are you thinking Serena??"

Serena looked at the rear mirror and said "I'm thinking what kind of features should I give to his face, like cute features or bold ones?"

Lucas chuckled before speaking "I guess bold like me"

"Like you?? Haha I don't want him to look like a monkey" Serena said as she started laughing.

Lucas pouted As he rolled his eyes "You're so mean Serena"

Serena zipped her mouth trying not to laugh but she failed as she again started laughing the whole ride and Lucas was just smiling seeing her friend happy.

Both of them reached Serena's home and, Both of them got off the bike as Serena took the things they bought inside while Lucas parked his bike and followed the girl inside.

Serena placed all things on the table and looked at Lucas "hey Lucas, do you want to eat before we go to your home??"

Lucas plopped on the couch as he nodded. By the time Serena washed her face and hands as she started cooking dinner Which was smoked chicken sandwich with Fruit salad.

Lucas was checking the items As he got amused by Serena's choice of eyeballs, it was small eyes but the colour electric blue was making it look fascinating.

After a while dinner was ready, Serena called for Lucas "Lucas! Come dinner's ready!!"

Lucas placed the eyeballs back in the box as he went to the dining table. As he sat down and licked his lips seeing the tasty looking dinner that got noticed by Serena, She served him the food and sat down too as Lucas thanked her "Thanks Serena! Damn it looks delicious"

Serena chuckled as she said before eating "Thanks for the compliment" as she finished her sentence and both of them started devouring the delicious meal with joy and delight.
