C6 Six

Coming out of the supermarket carrying a plastic bag containing groceries, Anna drank a bottle of cold minerals just to quench her thirst from the awkwardness that had gripped her while she was with Jake. It wasn't wine that could relieve the tension flowing in her veins, but distance. Even though her conversation with the Italian half-breed was exciting, Anna still felt that the difference in social status was too noticeable. She took in as many breaths as possible, erasing the image of the man in her head and neutralising the pounding in her chest.

In Anna's eyes, Jake is an elegant man, and it must be admitted that what Shanon said is true. It was so damn true that she couldn't resist the wine boss's charms. She was a thousand percent sure that no woman wasn't attracted to him, even though, on social media, Jake only showed his broad back and firm butt. The way Jake treated women and his enthusiastic tone about everything began to open up Anna's defensive walls. Moreover, he was willing to take Anna from Buleleng to her house in the Ungasan area without tirelessly driving here and there.

She shuddered in horror. She was dissolving the wild imagination running around in her head due to being infected by Shanon's words.

"You can imagine your fingers sinking into his curls when your bodies come together, Annie, when he screams your name in his sexy voice. I'm sure you will get dozens of great climaxes."

Anna took another sip of the mineral until the last point; she felt a strange turmoil swirling in her stomach. The waves transmit millions of volts of electricity, causing a spine-weakening sensation. Her legs almost sagged, so she had to lean on a supermarket support pole. Damn! Cursed the girl, swearing in her heart that she would never heed Shanon's words again.

On the other hand, Anna muttered that Jake's kindness was overrated, including the plastic items with the blue logo. Whether she should be happy or not, Anna was too reluctant to accept several hundred thousand notes as if today's heroic action deserved to be rewarded repeatedly. Of course, at first, Anna firmly refused because helping Jake's grandmother was just a coincidence. However, Jake dismissed this assumption through sweet sentences like hidden seduction.

"You're such a lifesaver, Anna," Jake praised.

"I'm just doing what I should, Jake. There's no need to overdo it," said Anna, forced to accept the gift from the owner of Lagom. "I'm sorry."

"Hoping," Jake joked with a laugh. "Come on, I seriously want to give you a gift--"

"A gift that your grandmother will give you if you get better," interrupted Anna, memorising Jake's sentence template.

Not only that, Jake also asked his employees to take Anna's motorbike directly to her home address because it was already dark, and the road to the plantation was rather quiet. If it's like this, should Anna withdraw everything she said to Shanon if she's not interested in men? Should she join her friend in getting Jake's name on the list of hot guys and a green flag?

"Oh, never mind, it's also called good luck," said Anna. "It's great to buy diapers, soap and powder for mothers in the hospital."

Anna stepped forward, wondering how long her mother had been in a coma after undergoing surgery due to a ruptured blood vessel in the brain. Two months? Anna shook her head in disbelief. It seems that Silawarti has been in bed for more than 60 days, supported by life support equipment. However, Anna doesn't want to give up and is determined to find money to the ends of the world to cure her soulmate. Even if she has to hire someone to look after her mother while she goes to work. Luckily, Anna's colleague, Saras, who works at the hospital where Silawarti was being treated, took the time to help.

This was because the Silawarti family hated Anna, who thought that she was a child who should not have been born. She was alleging that Silawarti went to Sydney not to work but to sell herself so that when she returned to Indonesia, she didn't bring money but a baby girl without knowing whose seed had grown in her womb.

A long time had passed, and her emotional wounds would not heal if she remained silent and listened to their ridicule. Now, Anna doesn't want to worry, and her sadness is a little overshadowed by the achievements and money she has earned as a travel nurse. Just imagine, Anna gets paid up to 3800 dollars per week without any other bonuses. At least from this income alone, she could pay for Silawarti's medical and care costs. So she didn't need to beg the Silawarti family to spend money.

"Ann!"

A familiar voice made Anna turn her head, and the happy smile on her lips suddenly faded quickly. She doesn't know which demon brought the man with bright blue eyes and blonde hair who suddenly appeared without being invited. The man she once loved with all her heart, in fact it can only drain her wallet half to death.

"Milo," muttered Anna, about to get away when her ex walked quickly towards her with a twinkle as if he had found a treasure box.

"How's your life?" Milo asked, highlighting Anna's increasingly charming appearance. "Long time no see, Anna."

"Better without you, Milo," said Anna, not responding to Milo's advances. "I have to go, goodbye."

"Hey, can we talk?" Milo asked, holding Anna's arm. "I miss you badly, Anna."

"Not at all," said Anna, brushing off Milo's grip with disgust. Disgusted by the treatment of this man with Spanish blood, it turns out he still feels at home living in Bali. Should Anna send a letter of complaint to immigration that an unpleasant man has been draining her money in the past?

"I saw you get out of a luxury car earlier. Is that your boyfriend?" Milo asked.

Anna widened her eyes for a moment with lots of speculation in her head, wondering whether Milo was deliberately following her. However, what is more important is how the man in the barong-patterned T-shirt knew that she had just returned from Sydney. Suddenly, a strange feeling gripped Anna's heart and told her to leave the parasite immediately.

"Of course, Milo," said Anna, confirming that Jake was her boyfriend in the hope that Milo would leave soon. "Never mind, we have nothing to discuss anymore."

"Ann!" Milo grabbed Anna's arm. "You have to help me! I'm out of money!"

"What? You think I'm a money-printing machine?" Anna yelled in displeasure as she forcefully let go of Milo's hand. "If you don't have money, work, Milo, not look for money and then waste people's money! You're crazy! I wonder why the immigration officers in this country don't immediately deport useless people like you!"

"Just this once," asked Milo, though his heart was boiling at Anna's teasing. He had to get some money from his ex; after all, the girl in front of him already had a rich boyfriend. So, how could Anna possibly be lacking?

"I do not want!" Anna exclaimed in annoyance and left the parasite with a rumbling chest.

"Tch, you overpriced whore!" Milo taunted. "You extort their money too, Ann. How is that any different from me?"

Anna's footsteps stopped, turned around and gave her a sharp look, not accepting being insulted as a bitch. "Watch your mouth, Milo! You don't know anything!"

Milo laughed so hard that his face turned red. "That's the reality, right? You left me and sold your body to Australia, right?"

"Milo!" Anna screamed, almost throwing a hard slap on Milo's cheek. "You parasite!" despicable.

Ignited with emotion, Milo forcefully pulled Anna's arm until the shopping bag the girl was carrying fell to the ground. Dragging his ex to a quiet place to be fucked because she mocked the parasitic man. Anna struggled, but her lips were sealed, and her body was pushed against the wall of an empty house. Then Milo planted a rough kiss on her lips, pressing her closer to force Anna to feel the evidence of her suddenly rising arousal.

All the hairs on Anna's neck bristled simultaneously when she received an unsolicited touch on her chest. She pushed Milo as hard as she could, but she lost so much strength that the man, going crazy, tore off the top of the crop top that Anna was wearing.

"Come on, bitch... I know you're selling yourself out there, Ann," said Milo, his irises shining with lust. "I've never tasted your tits and pussy."

"Bastard!" shouted Anna, kicking Milo's genitals.

"Fuck, Anna!" Milo screamed, feeling pain all the way to the top of his head when his manhood needed release.

Anna ran as hard as she could, picking up her plastic shopping bags. She turned her head for a moment and watched Milo catch up as if the fondling hadn't reduced his desire.

Damn! cursed Anna silently, hugging her shopping until the instant noodles and sanitary napkins fell. There was no time, she kept running as fast as possible to avoid the crazy man and unfortunately Anna had fallen in love with Milo in the first place.

It's like I was blind at that time!

The tranquil village street ends at an intersection with many passing vehicles and pedestrians. As if she were discovering life, Anna mingled with strangers while occasionally looking back, hoping that Milo was far behind. Crazy, really crazy! Anna's hands were shaking like crazy, and she could still feel Milo's forbidden grip and touch on her body. Has he lost his mind? Anna thought.

Anna's messy appearance caught the attention of several people who passed her. She didn't care if she was in a crowd rather than going back to the village street and being confronted by a crazy man. Moreover, the hustle and bustle of the nightlife in Ungasan cannot be separated from the clubs and bars that pamper people. The smoke from the vehicles and the booming EDM music that hit the outside were also decorated.

"Anna!" Milo's voice caused a wave of fear in Anna. She turned her head and widened her eyes when...Milo's angry expression seemed to imply that Anna would immediately surrender.

No!

Anna tightened her arms around her plastic shopping bag, running through the crowd of tourists who occasionally cursed harshly. Anna almost gives up when Milo doesn't know how to give up on getting what he wants. The glimpse of the crazy man kissing Anna's lips kept spinning until her stomach turned nauseous. Anna is not a cheap woman, nor does she sell her body or make advances towards men. No! Milo is wrong! Anna also doesn't want to give up her hard work to support a lazy man who usually goes on a spree without trying.

"Anna!"

Bastard! Anna thought, trying to find a place where she could hide.

Anna's gaze accidentally caught the figure of a tall, broad-shouldered man standing in front of a beach club building while making a phone call across the street. Like finding a ray of light that could be a lifesaver, Anna ran to the man to ask for help if a madman was chasing her.

"Jake!" Anna shouted, daring to cut through the road, ignoring the loud horn sound. "Sorry! Jake!" She screamed until her veins were visible as Milo's distance got closer.

Damn!

The one who was called didn't turn around; maybe Anna's voice was less than the noise of the vehicles around them. While Milo tried to keep up with Anna's speed, at least if he didn't get her body, he had to grab the bag slung over her shoulder.

"Jake!" Anna shouted, patting Jake's shoulder when a crazy idea came into her head as a form of self-protection.

"Anna," whispered Jake, surprised by the girl's sudden appearance, covered in sweat and quite messy.

"Jake, sorry, I have to kiss you," said Anna, pulling Jake's shirt collar and kissing the man's back-thin lips.
