C6 From the void: Chapter Six

As the followers bizarrely pushed the two resolute light entities back in Mōhai and Yuham’s direction, the tips of their dark, solidified bars hummed with a putrid energy. Zaki could feel the coldness and despair they emanated throughout this tangled field of primordial cosmic debris.

Avar met the follower head on with golden bursts of explosive white light as he counter- attacked the followers left and right. All the while Zaki was impeding his own minion with a thin linear shohwer of concentrated turquoise spikes that the minion was shielding with its dark, indestructible beams. With more energy that brightened Zaki’s outer core, the shower of spikes grew intense and the follower’s shield started dissipating. Unexpectedly, The follower’s consciousness latched itself onto another mega extension, passing closer to Zaki, and the darkness around the light entity swirled.

Suddenly, the newly-formed follower appeared on Zaki’s right. Sensing its reappearance, Zaki instantly summoned beams of light towards the minion. The follower instantly countered them, and was ready to strike Zaki’s main outer light core which was left vulnerable. Again, Zaki’s light shimmered slightly as he braced himself, preparing for the clash that would inevitably follow.

But to Zaki’s amazement the dark follower was paralyzed along with all the others. A shrill cry followed and with a streak of shadow, all the followers fled, whooshing into the unseen depths of the dark realm and blending within its protection. Their shrill hisses of panic were clearly audible long after they had disappeared, lingering amongst the dense clouds of shadow that had once obscured the battlefield, but were now thinning out. Both Zaki and Avar looked back, and shone out an aura of relief.

“Nysa,” Avar said melodiously and the space around his light seemed to brighten when he uttered the pious name of the most original light.

A gentle warmth spread throughout the battlefield, dispelling the coldness that had been brought forth by Abraxus all this time.

And then, the entire realm transformed from pitch-black to a deep velvet streaked with maroon nebulas, swirling and repelling even the smallest dark particles. Zaki and Avar both transfixed by the sight around them.

Abraxus tried to gaze upon the seemingly unique presence that was Nysa, floating above the green and gold entities. Her structure was one of unique elegance, curving smoothly to form a shape that seemed to be a combination of both Zaki and Mōhai’s forms.

“I am with you,” she seemed to whisper, and like Yuham’s words, this phrase settled firmly within the souls of all the light entities and instilled dread within the dark realm that shook violently.

Zaki looked back towards the space within the forcefield that Abraxus’s minions had used to occupy before their fearful retreat.

“Do not hesitate against this malicious existence of eternal despair, Zaki,” Nysa murmured, her light flickering radiantly. “As you know, I am the most original and unique form of the Infinite light. You notice how the darkness’s particles repel my nature–that is why they fled from the intensity of my existence, and I, too, cannot remain here for much longer.”

Nysa addressed Avar now, her form rippling with deep indigos and velvet. “I am entrusting you to overcome this perilous entity. Since both of you can hold my light, synchronize with it and use it to eradicate this evil calamity once and for all.”

Nysa raised her indistinct inner core and her light particles, shimmering with every shade of violet, converged around her before suddenly raining down over Zaki and Avar. As Nysa’s light merged with their structures, the energy that surrounded Avar and Zaki took on a faint, purple hue.

Avar’s inner core turned towards Nysa, and his entire form flashed, expressing his utmost respect and gratitude. Nysa’s structure hummed soothingly before softly dissolving into a mist of purple light, leaving a cloud of soft, purple gleams that flickered gently throughout the realm.

Rejuvenated, Avar and Zaki advanced, this time more fierce than ever, their indestructible light structures now glowing with Nysa’s essence. The followers that had sought refuge at the outer edge of the dark dominion sensed the changes in the light entities’ cores. As Avar whirled into the darkness once again slashing his galactic indestructible light, it instantly vaporized the dark followers all the while leaving a trail of melting light behind it that stretched onto astronomical leagues destroying Abraxsus’s precious dark particles coming in contact with it.

Zaki aimed his swarm of light beams towards the follower with unmatched speed, burning with turquoise energy swirling with violet. It pierced Abraxus’s right flank, facing no resistance and disintegrating the darkness back into nothing.

Avar and Zaki were now completely vaporizing this evil, with the intention that it would never again return. Avar’s one slash was equivalent to numerous galaxies of darkness being obliterated all around him, and he darted around the realm with complete ease, traveling astronomical distances in a matter of moments. Zaki’s light beams destroyed the right side and joined Avar, all the while creating a space within this dark structure’s right and front sides which was illuminating more and more.

“We are the lights that will illuminate your darkness forever!” cried Avar.

He and Zaki summoned spherical orbs with lightning speed, their entire structures surrounded by rays of intense intersecting variations of light. Abraxus could now begin to feel the sensation of this new essence drawing near him, and with every moment that passed, his core grew more and more agitated as his precious self was being obliterated.

“Is this my end?” the darkness thought. “No matter what I do, these lights will always utilize another law that is beyond my understanding. Maybe I am indeed naïve.”

Abraxus shunned its conscious mass from the destruction all around and was lulled into a trance. The darkness envisioned stretching its dark matter beyond where Yuham lay, extinguishing his golden radiance once and for all. After devouring the light, Abraxus would not stop there. It now saw itself at the highest point with its extensions below, engulfing all the space beyond Yuham, covering every minuscule of light and creating more darkness everywhere. It would be the sole entity in existence; nothing would remain except a dense, pitch-black plane, spanning across the known realms and beyond.

These foreboding thoughts crowded its mind, increasing its greed to unnatural levels. “If it were not for all the obstructions I faced until now, my form would have already achieved this state. I know by now that my intelligence is no ordinary thing.”

As the heat from the light grew closer, Abraxus imagined itself face-to-face with the Infinite realm. “Yes,” he hissed. “That is what I want : to be infinite! So that my existence can never perish!”

Abraxus coming out of its trance state, concentrated deeply again within the light particles scattered all around. It would end these irritating shining particles and their keepers. Miniature tendrils of dark plasma crept around the specks of light, penetrating the light particle and invading each of its intricate layers. It extinguished more light the deeper it went, blackening all that was illuminated.

The enchained light matter started to expand within, creating an expanse of a mixture of light and shadows all around. Abraxus locked these tendrils to every miniature layer within the light specs and started sucking their energy to power its own dark matter. Almost instantly abraxas felt an infinite surge of energy that was almost overwhelming.

As it drained more of the light it began to feel its dark energy intensifying , the very threads that held its dark matter together were stretching and spreading everywhere. Abraxsus was straining against the overwhelming pressure, but the dark dimension continued to grow. Slowly Abraxsus’s form started glowing faintly. It was an eerie, shimmering quality that did not reflect the glow of the light, but instead radiated a horrible sense of doom and coldness. It emanated the very core of his evil, his lust for reaching beyond Yuham into the realm of the Infinite One and a return to the dominance of which it yearned for.

Abraxus’s entire form began to vibrate even more violently with satisfaction. It was as if he had attained a state of completion.

Upon seeing Abraxsus’s transformation, Zaki and Avar stoodfast, more determined than ever to vanquish this colossal dark dimension. They summoned a massive wave of light spheres and columns of light encrusted with Nysa’s essence all in an instant from every part of their outer and inner cores that burned with a blazing finality, towards Abraxus. The incoming wave of endless lights crashed into the infinite glimmering darkness and shook the realm creating booms of waves and debris at the point of impact. As light teared through the energized black matter, the newly-fueled dark material instantly repaired itself, regenerating and emerging even stronger and denser than before.

The glittering darkness was overshadowing the velvet light as well, converting the vast distances around it into a realm of pitch black. As this new form stretched towards Avar and Zaki, something began to glimmer faintly amongst the shadows. Nestled within the deeply blackened space was a hidden passage of light.

There were two of these newly revealed light tunnels, each connected to Zaki and Avar stretching out across the battlefield, that seemed to originate from Yuham’s form. It was a bridge of invisible light that Abraxus had not been able to perceive before--until now.

And now it understood that these light entities were truly insignificant. Both Avar and Zaki had received an infinite supply of light and energy from Yuham, which he, in turn, had undoubtedly received from the realm beyond.

“They all depend on Yuham,” Abraxus realized, amused. “He is the conduit.”

Abraxus focused towards Avar and Zaki, hissing with distaste. With one great stretch, Abraxus directed two enormous extensions towards Zaki and Avar. They both tried to counter this new extension even though they were battling constantly with glittering dark energy beams and waves of glittering followers. The extensions swiftly avoided their attempt to counter it and coiled around their light connections. It tethered to this now visible passage with an unbinding malignancy.

The energy beams and orbs emitted from the light entities disintegrated instantly. The two light entities themselves started fading. Their magnificent circular and U-shaped structures were dimming at an exponential rate. Abraxus turned to Avar, and To Abraxus’s shock, Avar was still resisting. Even though his resistance was weaker, he was countering every dark beam and followers that came towards him using his indestructible Outer core. Zaki, now dimmer than ever before, was huddled behind Avar counter attacking the incoming dark followers. As the darkness kept getting heavier around them, Abraxas sensed that victory was finally within its reach.

Approaching closer now to Yuham, Abraxsus addressed the linear pure gold light directly, its entire form rippling with a self satisfied hate. “Look at your beloved companions now, how weak they have become. You serve the wrong Infinite being!”

As Abraxsus let out a hysterical high shriek that echoed throughout the realm, Yuham’s light flickered.

“I really did hope it would not come to this.” Yuham replied. “Be warned, a creation can never surpass its creator. We will defeat you!”

“I will prove you wrong when I destroy these annoying entities, after which I shall destroy you,” Abraxsus retorted.
