C15 What Are You Doing Here?

Shen Mannge was shocked.

Ye Nanxuan was a tyrannical and persistent man. What he wanted, he got. He never cared about the opinions of others. She had known this long ago. Although attracting his attention was part of her plan, she had never thought that she would expose herself so quickly.

If Ye Nanxuan saw the burns on her body, her plan would never work. These five years of heart-piercing pain would have all come to naught.

Although Ye Nanxuan retracted back in pain and blood started to come out of his nose, his dominating nature did not take a hit.​

Listening to Shen Mannge's indignant words and seeing her pair of beautiful eyes which were like two orbs of burning flames, accentuated her alluring beauty even more. It made her look even more similar to the person in his memories.

Ye Nanxuan's eyes darkened, but he did not continue to press Shen Mannge.

He always found out what he wanted to know. Sooner or later, he would find out everything about this woman too.

"Shen Mannge, you'd better be straightforward with me. Otherwise, you'll know soon enough that those who scheme against me don't have a happy ending."​

Ye Nanxuan stared at Shen Mannge. He wanted to find the shift in her eyes that said that she was lying, but the woman was too good at acting. She glared at him with angry eyes, as if he had committed a heinous crime.

They stared at each other for a few seconds like that, both of them refusing to back down.​

Shen Mannge felt sweat drip down her back.​

Despite the experience she had gained by being abroad for five years, she was losing just because of the sheer tenacity that this man had.​

Just when Shen Mannge was unable to hold his stare any longer, a sharp shout suddenly sounded in her ears.

"What are you doing here?"

Chu Mengxi never expected to see Ye Nanxuan here. The way Ye Nanxuan and Shen Mannge were looking at each other made her feel uncomfortable. She couldn't help but yell in a sharp voice as she walked up to the door.

Shen Mannge had never been as grateful to see Chu Mengxi as she was at that moment.

She took the initiative to move her eyes away from Ye Nanxuan. She looked at Chu Mengxi, a trace of coldness appearing in her eyes.

"Miss Chu? Did you come to take Mr. Ye back? Or do you two intend to team up as a couple and beat me up? I am just puzzled, how did I offend the two of you? It's like you're both itching to find trouble with me."​

Shen Mannge's voice was icy.

Chu Mengxi tried her best to act regretful and submissive. If Ye Nanxuan saw her sincerity, he wouldn't blame her, regardless if Shen Mannge returned to the company or not. Right?​

Thinking of this, Chu Mengxi knelt before Shen Mannge. There was a sudden flash of light that made Shen Mannge squint.
