C140 Unspoken Promises

Rose’s POV

After a warm shower that soothed my skin, I dried off with a towel and decided to sleep with no clothes on. I wanted to tease Damien, so I got under the sheets and pretended to be asleep.

Then I heard the door open and close.

"I just finished preparing Lily's room, so I guess that leaves us to each other," Damien said, his voice filling the room.
