Trope of the mc hiding every little thing from his wife. My single most hated trope in all these novels. I stop reading whenever it starts. Because I’ve learned through reading hundreds of son-in-law novels that there are never any badass moments. It’s normally just the mc being a cuck bitch for most of the novel, letting everyone spit in his face.
