C9 His Whole Body Is Aching! How Intense!!

Alright, she was really at a loss. On the bed, there was only a men's shirt that she could manage to wear. Chi Zaozao picked it up and put it on. When she stood up, she finally saw where she was. Walking to the window, she truly understood what it meant to have a bird's-eye view. Chi Zaozao had always wondered what it would feel like to see the whole city at once, and now, standing on the top floor of this building, she got it. But who exactly had she crossed paths with?

Just then, the door opened, and in walked Di Yeming. He was casually dressed, his hair slightly tousled but not messy, and his eyes, though no longer glowing with yesterday's purple hue, were still captivating. Otherwise, Chi Zaozao wouldn't have been so mesmerized.

Why did she feel like she had come out ahead last night?

"Awake?" Di Yeming asked.

Chi Zaozao nodded instinctively, then watched as Di Yeming placed a shopping bag at the foot of the bed. It was from a well-known clothing brand. She heard him say, "Here are some clothes. Change into them. Breakfast is outside."

With that, Di Yeming didn't say another word, turned, and walked out the door. Chi Zaozao was left puzzled by his every move. He didn't seem like a dangerous villain at all, more like an innocent little rabbit. And why did he seem shyer than her? She had noticed his slightly flushed ears.

Chi Zaozao took a quick shower and changed into the clothes the man had given her, which, annoyingly, fit perfectly. In the dressing room, after changing, she stood in front of the mirror, momentarily lost as she looked at the woman reflected back at her. She patted her face, wondering how she could feel so different after just one night.

It seemed Chi Zaozao hadn't realized that after meeting Yeming, she was surprisingly unconcerned about the confusing circumstances of losing herself. Maybe that's just how women are, drawn to beautiful things and people. Or perhaps it's fate. When two people are meant to be together, no matter how much they wander, they end up back with each other.

In the main hall, Yeming sat at the dining table, a slight smile playing on his lips. Sixth Master Di, the Di family's butler, stood nearby, nervously. From his experience, whenever their young master smiled, it rarely meant anything good.

"Master, you seem quite happy today," Sixth Master Di ventured.

To his surprise, the young master nodded. "Yes, I am. Why? Do you have a problem with that?"

Sixth Master Di quickly shook his head, stepping back a few paces. "Of course not, Master. If you're happy, we're happy too."

"You can go now. Don't forget what I've instructed you," Yeming ordered. "I want detailed information."

"Got it." Sixth Master Di said, and without any hesitation, he closed the door and left. He was curious about who could make the family so happy, but he didn't expect the Little Young Master Di to be so protective of the woman inside. Well, that's good too. The group of men around Little Young Master Di could finally feel safe.

As for the task Yeming assigned, it was for Sixth Master Di to look into Chi Zaozao's background.
