But she dodged my attempt and chuckled as she pressed a finger to my lips instead. "I am not ruining my lipstick." She grinned, the whites of her teeth looking really bright against her lips.

I smiled and scoffed to myself. Then I raised my hand and grasped hers in mine, interlacing our fingers together.

I looked down at her painted nails. "But soon?" I asked. I fucking needed her
