It was a strange feeling at first, like he had to climb out of a hole that was dark, but the light was within his reach. Gradually he could feel his body in one place, then the quiet. The place was dark where he awoke, he could not make out much from the surrounding but he could perceive sewage nearby, and from the way his head felt groggy, he could tell he had been unconscious for a while
