C5 Grouped

We will be on a group for the entire semester. So whatever the professors assigned us homeworks we need to do it together.

I got to be the same group as Adrian.

‘Yasss!’ I smirked. And high fived myself internally.

We were grouped into two because of the scenarios in an airplane.

We were now sitting next to each other. Then it hit me, he smelled a little minty and citrusy at the same time it was addicting. I felt fresh, it was peaceful. And I got addicted to inhaling.

“Hey.” He greeted. His voice was deep and sexy. Exhaled. I wanted to record it and listen to it until I fall asleep. Creep.

“Hey, yourself.” I exhaled. And then stared at my notes.

He turned his head to focus at the professor at the front.

“I hoped I’m lucky with you.” I whispered to him.

“You’ll see.” He replied.

“Because you’re not.” I added. Then he chuckled a little.

“I’m Adrian.”

“Harlow.”

Somehow my breathing even out. Thinking maybe I inhaled all his scent already. I turned my head on my left where he was then sniffed.

He stiffened and I turned away immediately.

“Did you just..?” He trailed off, looking at me.

“What?” I made a confused look.

Omg omg omg!

“..sniffed me?”

“Why would I?” I said innocently.

Then the bell rang.

I got up, flashed him a big smile then left.

I saw him shook his head.

I think my heart just skipped a beat.

The next classes went in a blur.

And then I remembered that one of our classes on mondays were at the same time, then I get to see my girls before the day ends.

I happily went to the room and scanned it.

“Low!” Sam yelled calling me over.

The room was huge. To cater different departments I believed.

I sat next to Janna on her left, Sam was on her right and then Leih. Whom was next to Daniel.

“Daniel, that is Harlow, she went to the same highschool with us.” Leih introduced us. Then he just nodded his head at me.

Snob.

“Close already?” I whispered to Janna.

“He’s fine.” She replied.

Our professor came, then went on for discussion. Then I spotted Adrian in the corner surrounded with girls. I rolled my eyes.

“Do we really need to take this??” Sam frowned. “We don’t need this.”

We do actually, it was included to our curriculum that we do not have a choice, if we did not take it we might not graduate.

One hour only. I look at the clock, it was like it was teasing me for going slow.

Tik tok tik tok. I yawned.

I stared at the back of Adrian’s head for a good ten minute. He fidgeted.

I wanted burger and ice cream. I’m bored that’s why I think of food.

“Let’s go have some ice cream before we go back to our dorm.” I whispered to them.

I got thumbs up all up to Daniel.

The bell rang and we ran.

Good thing Daniel knows an ice cream parlor nearby.
