C12 CHAPTER 12

Door of the office opened and closed, Somia entered with a file in her hand and dressed very nice. She put the file on the table and sat down on the chair continued working, Somia had been busy working since. As she was going to the departments that was how she was working on the laptop correcting some transactions and replying to mails.

Ashar too was in the office, sitting on the chair and putting his legs on the table. Pressing his phone and drinking tea prepared for him by Somia. He deliberately punishing her with works because she said NO to his requests yesterday, he really wanted Somia to hangout with him yesterday night after they closed from work. But Somia didn’t wanted to because she still ashamed of herself for what happened that night and didn’t wanted the same thing to happen.

Somia had been really tried even with the way she was pressing the system, she had really tried. It was not easy to be walking round the company especially when a project was going on in the company, the project that they went to have meeting for had been carrying out. So the company was so busy and there were many clients in the company defending their contracts upon that the same contract and that was how it used to go.

Ashar looked at Somia’s face and saw that she had been seriously stressful. Somia stood up and wanted to be going to the bathroom when the intercom started ringing. She left back, picked the call and talked to the man that called. It was another thing that they were calling her for.

“I will go there now, let me quickly use the toilet!” Saying as she was going to the bathroom and talking to herself louder. Ashar started dialing a mobile number as he saw Somia entering the toilet.

“Hello! Well done. Cancel the assignment, I said that she will carry the assignment still the closing time but not again. Share the works back to those whom responsible for it normally!”

“Okay Sir!, it has been done!!” Director Said and he did one that Ashar called to give Somia works.

“Also I don’t like the way you are talking to her, she is my personal assistant and you have to respect her as you use to respect me!” It was all their conversation at director’s office that he was hearing not that he was just pressing or playing with his phone.

“Noted Sir!, am very sorry for that!” Showed his apologies.

“It’s okay!, well done and don’t forget to send the mail to me personally not my p. A!” He said with lower voice and hang up. Somia came out from the toilet met Ashar checking something on laptop and wanted to be going to director’s office to see her.

“Come back!, the works has been assigned to some people else just be waiting for the mails!” Said with smile and didn’t raised his head up.

“Okay Sir!” “Thank God! I am really tired, so Let me quickly work on this then!” Talking to herself silently and sat down on the chair.

“Let me go and buy food for her at that good restaurant and use that as an apology for punishing her. She is really tied and am sorry for overacted!” Talked to himself and stood up, packing some books together and doing something before leaving. Somia’s phone started ringing and she picked it.

“Hello Somia!! I can see the way you are walking round the company, I hope you are not tied and well done!” Semirat was the one that called.

“Thank you very much for the care!” Said with smile.

“Can we go and have launch together, we will also use that to talk about ourselves and know each other more better!” Ashar didn’t do anything again just looking at Somia.

“Am very busy now as you too know, may be next time and sorry for turning the offer down!”

“No problem, I understand. I hope you are not going out still closing time?”

“Yes! Please I will call you back!” She hanged up and continued working.

“Is that your friend? Or it’s someone else and don’t mind for asking!” Ashar was Just curious to know.

“It’s a friend that I just met here and want to have launch with me!” Somia didn’t specify whether it was a male or female. But from the normal view of Ashar it was a male that always used to invite a lady for launch and for them to know each other well.

“Am going now to get food for you, so don’t go anywhere!” Said with lower voice and going out. Despite that he had a fiancée always wanted to be keeping Somia from other men and it was because he really love her.

After some minutes later that Ashar left, Somia was still at where she was sitting and busy working. She suddenly heard and saw the door opened and closed. Iqimat entered, wearing a very lovely and designer gown. Somia stood up as she saw her entering and looking at each other.

“Hi! Who are you please!!” Iqimat asked with lower voice and looking at Somia.

“Am Somia by mine name and a personal assistant to the CEO!, please can I know you!”

“Ashar’s personal assistant!, where are you not in your office that it’s place you are? By the way am his fiancée and also where is he?” Somia looked at her with the way she was talking for few seconds and started talking.

“It’s the order by him said that he doesn’t want me to be in that office, also he just went out few minutes ago may be you missed your part because you suppose to meet!”

“Okay! Your face look familiar! Have we meet before?” Somia looked at her very well.

“I have never see you before Ma!” Said with lower voice and sat down back.

“it’s like I have seen you somewhere else before. Always, I will be leaving now and call him!” She said, looking at Somia and going out. As she was leaving, Semirat got there and two of them exchanged greetings like normal person because she had never saw Iqimat before.

Semirat entered the office and Iqimat left the place going Funbi’s office to greet her as her friend. Semirat Put the two leather bags on the table at the front of Somia, she brought food for her since Somia didn’t had time to go and eat.

“Well done Somia!, you are really busy today that is why I decided to brought the food here!”

“Thank you!, I don’t know how it be today, very serious. Just walking round, replying to mail in the office and also approving some documents at the same time. Infant it’s very serious!” Said with lower voice and closed the laptop.

“Even if I too count the time that you came to Audit department, it will be going to five times so serious. So that is why I called you for launch but still see that you are busy so that is why I decided to just bring it here for you and going to my office!”

“Thanks!! Not need to go now since that the CEO is not around, keep me company!” Somia Said as she was opening the food.

“Okay! I heard that the formal personal assistant has his own office, why don’t you use it?”

“It’s the order by the CEO, said that it’s his office I will be using!!”

“Okay!! People are really talking about it, won’t mind their own business!” Felt annoying.

“That is people! It’s order that I am following!!” She was eating and enjoying the food.

Funbi and Iqimat came out from her office and escorting out of the office after spending few minutes in her office. Iqimat faced Funbi as they got to the reception.

“That reminds me! Who is the lady at Ashar’s office, said she is his personal assistant!”

“That should be Somia! Yes she is!” Said with lower voice.

“Why did you employed a lady for him as his personal assistant and also using his office!”

“He was the one that choose her, even on that day that lady ran away and as he entered the hall it was that lady that he first asked for as if he had knew her somewhere else before. The next day too that lady didn’t resumed, he ordered me and his driver to go to her house and brought her to work!”

“Wait!! Ashar ordered you to take his own personal car to go and picked a lady at her house and for her to resume to work when she refused to resume!”

“Yes! Even his mother was there that day and she too was surprised. He insisted that she was the one that he want and also refused that it’s his office she will be using!” Funbi explained forwarded.

“Even that lady face look familiar but I don’t remember where I saw her, I want you to be giving me all the information about them. Always telling me if their movement as be going beyond personal assistant and boss!”

“Okay! I will, I will be texting you on WhatsApp and if it’s need to call you I will!”

“Thank you! I want to remember where I saw her!” They were talking when they saw Ashar entering with two leather bags in his hand. Funbi greeted him and going to her office.

“Hello! How are you?, you don’t tell me that you are coming!” Ashar Said with smile and hug each other with happy mood.

“Just want to do a surprise for you!, where do you go?”

“Went to the restaurant not far from this place to buy a food!”

“Where don’t you send your personal assistant that it’s you that go!” Looking at him.

“She is busy so I just decided to go by myself!” Ashar Said with smile.

“Okay!! Why are you holding two bags, it’s two food that you brought?”

“Oh!! Yes, I brought it for my sister because she really love their food and want it to be a surprise for her”

“It fine! It’s your house that I want to sleep today so I came here so that we can go home together!”

“It good! Let me quickly go and take my laptop, and start going home!” Said and two of them going to his office. Iqimat was holding his hand and talking along.

Semirat had went back to her office and it was only Somia that left in the office, she was busy again working on the laptop when door opened and closed. Ashar and Iqimat entered with smile on their face, Somia greeted them and continued working. Iqimat was standing at the front of the Somia had starring at her wanted to remember where she saw her.

Ashar was unable to give the food to Somia again or talk to her as he used to, just packing the laptop and other things inside the bag and it was because of Iqimat.

“Take care of yourself Somia!, and see you again!” Starting at her and unable to take his eye away from her. Iqimat was looking at him and looking at Somia.

“Ashar! Ashar!! Can we go now!” Said with loud voice, Ashar smile and going out. Iqimat looked back again as they were going out, deeply wanted to remember her face.

Sound of the door closed and two of them got down to the compound, Ashar went to his car and Iqimat too went to her own car and driving out. That was why people were surprised when Somia always entering Ashar’s car and also with what happened that time, even him and his fiancée it was there different cars that they used to enter because they could be separated anytime.

Shukuran was in the living room and doing her assignment on the laptop. She just arrived back from school and she was the only one in the living room, their parents were not around.

Door opened and closed, Ashar and Iqimat entered and Shukuran ran to them with smile.

“Welcome back. Iqimat! Am happy to see you here!” Hug each other.

“I don’t know that you will be back today, how are you!” Ashar Said and remembered what he just told Iqimat. Iqimat looked at him.

“You don’t know she will be back today!, not her that you said you brought this food for?”

“Oh brother!!, you brought a food for me!” She collected it from Iqimat hand and looking at it.

“Why do you brought food from this restaurant!, you know I hate their food now and it’s only you that love it and use to buy it!” Iqimat was just looking at him, everything had been confusing.

“Oh!! I have forgot that you don’t love their food!” Said with lower voice.

“How now!!, you are the one that said it personally a day before yesterday when we want to buy food that you know that I don’t like their food. So you bought your own there and we went to another restaurant to buy mine!” Explained forwarded.

“Oh!! You can give it to one of the workers or Iqimat should eat it!” Said with lower voice and going upstairs. Shukuran sat down back and Iqimat was looking at him claiming upstairs.

“Am one hundred percent sure that am not the one that brother bought this food for!” Shukuran Said with smile and talking to Iqimat.

“I remembered!! Yes I do!!. It’s her picture that I saw on his phone that he lied that he just saw the picture on Instagram and saved it so that he can buy the cloth for him!” Said with loud voice.

“Iqimat!! Iqimat!!!, is everything alright!!” Shukuran asked with lower voice.

“Ashar! What he!!!. You know what, never mind!!” Going upstairs with Ashar. Shukuran was just looking at her going and she was confused as well.
