C14 CHAPTER 14

Somia got down to the compound of Ashar's house with Ashar's car key in her hand and going to the car. It was Ashar's house that she resumed to and she had been inside with Ashar since and working at home.

They had a very important place to go to and time was giving to them, so they were working at home first before the time reached. Somia opened the door, took the file that she came down to take. Closed the door and locked it back, she just took a step when the laundry man entered with one of his workers holding a bag full of clothes.

"MA you are here again!, I greet you ma!!" the man was very happy to see her again.

"Greet her with honor, she is my formal boss's daughter and the most popular billionaire man in Nigeria then!" Talking to his workers.

"Am sorry Sir, I greet you Ma!!!" the guy too said with respect, Somia just looked at him and said.

"Please! Can I see you!" talked to the laundry man.

"Off course Ma, you can see me!" Somia held his hand and took him to a corner at the left side of the house, wanted to stay far from the workers for them not to be listening to their conversation.

Somia released his hand and faced him, looking at each other eye to eye.

"I don't want all those respect that you use to give me because I don't want anyone of them here to know my background, am working now as Ashar's personal assistant and everything as changed from how it be before!"

"You working as a P. A ma!, what happened?" He said with surprised and with loud voice.

"My uncle, my father's brother has took over everything that my father had including the company and sent us out. It's like one year and half after the death!"

"I can't believe this Ma, that man is the only person that form the most closet person to your dad. How could he do that to his own brother's family!"

"We are just managing and that is why am working so that my siblings stop their education. So I don't want anybody to know whom I am and it's not for anything but for security purposes also my mother use to say that we should let anybody know whom we----" The boy stopped Somia with loud voice.

"Don't do that, talk out let all those reporters hear. It's because people don't know you that is why he is able to do that, thought that you are still in London, even two years back when all those reporters asked him about his brother's children that why is that it's him acting as the CEO again in his brother's company.

He just said that 'have you see the children in Nigeria before' and left. The news is live on channel. Talk out Ma, even I too thought that you have go back to London and that is why am happy when I saw you again that time!"

"Me too have think to do that but I also agreed with what my mother said, that it's because my uncle knows that nobody know us that is why he just leave us and just let us be if not he will plan to do something.

My uncle that you see, he is a very wicked person, have many boys that works for him and if he kill person, the police men can never trace it or know how it happened. If it's not accident, it will be like nature death or like a house just burn!" explained to him.

"Me too know whom he is. But I have some boys that they are very powerful and intelligent, let us just kidnap his wife and order him to release all the properties in his hand!"

"I don't want that, I know my uncle very well. If we do it it's we that it will later bounce on. I know I will collect all my father's properties from him but I have not know how it will go but God will lead me through"

"Ah!! Ah!!! MA, let do something. Those boys know how to do clean job. You don't suppose to be working as someone personal assistant at all, you are a young billionaire CEO on your own. Not good at all!!" The man really felt bad and very angry.

"I have your number, I will call you if I will need your assistance on this!" Somia was talking when they heard a foot steps. Iqmat got to where they were.

"So this is where you are with him, can I have the file!" She collected the file from Somia's hand and going, Somia too followed her and the boy too.

"Somia!! What happened just to bring a file from the car and give it to Dad!" Ashar said, it was him and Iqmat that came out to look for her.

Iqmat was still in their house, sometimes she uses to come to spend two weeks or a week's with them and went to their own house back.

"She was there busy talking to the laundry man, don't know what they are talking about for her not to hear us calling her since morning!"

'Please Iqmat help me to go and give the file to father and Somia let go, we have been running late!"

"Okay Ashar's!" Iqmat said and going inside, Ashar and Somia too entered into the car sitting at the back and the driver driving out.

"First day you first came here, I noticed that you and that boy knows each other because of the way he ran to you as he saw you. Now Iqmat said that it's two of you that is talking, do you know him?" Somia had went far, she was in deeply thinking.

"Somia!! Somia!!! Do you hear me. Somia!!"

"I must get it back!!!" Somia said out and Ashar looked at her.

"What do you want to get back?, what are you thinking?"

"Sir, don't mind it's just what I want to collect from someone. Let me quickly draft this mail down now!!" Opened the laptop and starring at it.

Ashar was looking at her, knew that there was something about her. Knew that she was not whom she was forming to be, even her accent as she was trying to let it be like Nigeria that London born accent was still there. Before Ashar had been thinking may be she was from normal rich family but when he saw their house, it made him felt like they were just half ranged okay.

Somia's uncle came down from his car with one of his boy, standing at his back like bouncer. The driver drove the car to the packing place and they entered the company.

It was his own company that he came to check how work was going and it was unaware. He didn't even tell the director that he was coming despite that he came yesterday and also went to Somia's father's company too.

Few minutes later, him and his boy arrived to the director's office and he opened the door without knocking. The director was surprised to see him but he just hid it.

"Good morning Sir! Please seat down!" Standing on his foot.

"You are surprised to see me here right?" Asked as he was sitting down on the chair and his boy standing at his back.

"Not really Sir, just that you don't tell me that you are coming today and once you have came yesterday!"

"I just decided to come, also what brought me here is on the financial statement. Call me the auditor, I need full details on it and on the contract we are competing for how is it going?"

"Let me call him now to come and explain the financial statement and on the contract, the man said that he can't assure us that we will win the contract because our competitor is a strong body and he is among the members in house of assembly also he is holding a very strong post there. So all those people on this contract are like his friend and the same member in house of assembly!" Calling the intercom after finished the explanation.

"So it's because he is a politician that is why they thought that he may win the contract, let see how it go then. Continue following it and do all the necessary things that requires. Also what it's his name and his company name?"

"His name is Israel Odelana, his company name is Odelana and CO. And we will do as you said Sir!"

"Why is the auditor has not been here now, and I heard you telling someone to call him. He is not in the company or what?"

"His personal assistant said that he has not resumed to work, so I told him to call him now that you are around!"

"Oh!! This is how you used to do, because you have know that I don't uses to come everyday that is why you too decided to be giving each other breaks!"

"Not like that Sir, may be something deny him----" The director was talking when door opened and the auditor entered, breathing heavily and sweating.

"Good afternoon Sir!, am very sorry for coming to work late even I have been on my way when my P. A called that you are around. Am very sorry, it's my wife that I rushed to the hospital this morning!" With his looks and stress on his face it as showed that he was not lying.

"You should have call or send a mail, it doesn't need for you to come at all. Your wife need you beside her now!" Somia's uncle said with feelings.

"My daughter is with her now. Thank you for your concern Sir"

"No!! No!! Go and meet your wife, I give permission to go and meet your wife, what is the name of the hospital?"

"It's Royal Blessed hospital in Banana island and thank you sir!"

"I will stop by when am going home, it's close to my house and I have sent two million to you to take care of your wife!" the auditor was so glad.

"Ah! Ah!!! Thank you very much Sir, thanks Sir!"

"Not need for that, you can go now quickly and be expecting me there!"

"Okay Sir!, thank you Sir!" Auditor opened the door and left.

That was whom Somia's uncle was, he was a very nice man that most people love him, just only greediness and always wanted something to belong to only him that spoiled him.
