Adrian watches the waves.

The constant tandem of their movement back and forth, the hints of the afternoon sun glaring down into the water, The sound of the sea rushing in and out into the beach distinctly audible even from his vantage inside the confines of the balcony of his room.

It's all so sharp and clear that Adrian finds himself breathing to the rhythm of the waves.
