Jessa walked blindly along Clerkenwell Road before turning right and heading north towards St. Pancras. Then she turned east and followed the crooked streets uphill towards the Angel. The streets were lined with the odd mixture of small businesses, council housing and luxury flat conversions that characterized south Islington, but all she could see were the images that had surfaced in her head
