C33 PART THIRTY-THREE

Shara looked at herself critically in the mirror. If she breathed in, she could count her ribs. It wasn’t a good look for her and she thought she looked every one of her thirty years. Maestra would be going into wide release in three weeks, but it had premiered on the opening night of the Toronto International Film Festival the previous week.

In the months since she’d seen Jessa
