C15 Chapter 15

The night was no longer that long, and Soong Chaoxi had not slept the entire night. She was just immersed in the fantasy story, but Nan Lu, who was next to her, seemed to be very comfortable.

She quietly closed the door. Yuan Fann's door was open. It seemed that he had already gone down.

She didn't know why, but she heard some strange sounds just now, but she didn't pay attention to it. When she came down, she subconsciously looked at the glass window and realized that it was raining outside.

Soong Chaoxi couldn't wait to open the door. A sense of loss hit her.

She did not feel anything at all. The only thing that could comfort her was that she could still hear voices and see the scenery in front of her.

The sky was filled with dark clouds, and rain fell from the distant sky onto the ground. From time to time, the dull thunder would suddenly appear, making Soong Chaoxi feel a kind of comfort that she hadn't felt in a long time.

She opened her hands and let the rain fall on her palms. Her body was not wet, and the rain was covered with a layer of fabric called unreal.

She pushed the door open again and saw Yuan Fann walking over from the depths of the bookstore. He frowned and said, "There's no one else today."

The sound of hurried footsteps came from afar. Nan Lu widened her eyes and shouted excitedly, "Ah, it's raining?"

Soong Chaoxi sat on the side and watched, her eyes filled with sadness. She watched Nan Lu excitedly run outside, then open her arms and spin around. She suddenly remembered her past.

Rain used to be her cure, and she was always happy to have it, no matter where or when.

She used to sit in her courtyard when it rained, enjoying a cup of hot tea and bread, and then play a good story on the side.

She missed it very much, thinking that maybe she could fight for a chance to live for this scene.

Because of this thought, her expression bloomed like a flower. She didn't think about her personality at all.

Nan Lu walked in dejectedly. She lowered her eyes, bit her lower lip, and said in a low and sad voice, "It's so sad that I can't feel the rain."

She sat on the sofa with her hands on her cheeks. She wanted everyone to be happy, but for the time being, she had no idea.

After a while, she hit her left palm with her right fist. Her eyes lit up and she suddenly said, "By the way, there are some clothes in my furniture store. Do you want to go and try?"

Soong Chaoxi nodded. Actually, she was not interested in this matter, but she could not bear to destroy her expectations. Yuan Fann did the same. He nodded and followed Soong Chaoxi out of the small bookstore and went to the other side.

The upholstery of the furniture store was very fashionable, and the wallpaper was full of art. Nan Lu said happily, "I often fantasize about some strange furniture, but I didn't expect to come here and realize my dream."

Soong Chaoxi looked at the painting of the sea and thought about whether this was a good or bad thing.
