C8 Headaches

^ SID POV ^

"I told you not to rush with your medications, then why are you still being so stubborn? " I asked Nidhi as I gave her some headache medicines. Just two days have passed since my mother gave her medications which brought consequences of waves of headaches for her. I don't know why but every time I see her wincing in pain, my chest hurts. I don't know what's this feeling, maybe sympathy for seeing her suffer like this.

"I am fine, don't worry much about me. They are just simple headaches not some sort of life threatening disease. And I need to endure it to remember my past life so that I can stop being burden on you" she said while taking the medicine and I got sad listening to her last sentence.

"Stop talking about yourself like that. You are not any burden on us. You are a part of our family now. Oh by the way mom said she will get back in 5 days for your checkup. So if you think about being a burden on us, you can talk to her so that she can let you experience the beatings of motherly love" I said smirking.

"No I was just kidding, we all are a family as you said so you won't let your fellow family member suffer will you" She asked with an innocent face causing me to chuckle.

"So what will you do if you once again recover all your memories? Will you leave us immediately? " I asked trying my best to stop any fluctuations coming on my face.

"Don't worry, you guys helped me when nobody else was with me. Even if I have to leave after recovering my memory we can still be best friends" She replied smiling at me with her glittering eyes and I started looking at another side of the room to stop blushing.

" Hey kiddos wattcha doing? " Said Stacey as she entered the apartment and before anyone of us could react, she gave Nidhi a tight hug from back.

" I won the cooperation with the beauty products company and I am going to open a new branch soon " said Stacey grinning. Then she took out a gift and handed it over to Nidhi.

" Where is mine? " I asked Stacey in hope for also getting a gift.

"Aww you also want a hug from big sis, come here I will give you a huge hug " she replied and I ran back to my room to avoid Stacey from teasing me any more.

Another comfortable conversation between me and Nidhi was destroyed by Stacey sometimes I think she is doing it purposely to avenge all the pranks I played on her.

^ NIDHI POV ^

As soon as I started taking prescribed medications, my head has been hurting non stop so Stacey banned me from entering her boutique till I get well. I didn't told anyone but, I have been seeing some small fragments of my past memories. Not much could I understand but I have been getting an uneasy feeling about it.

I don't know why but I am getting attracted towards Sid. All the time he spent taking care of me, all those jokes, pranks we all did to each other, all those endless talks. But I don't think he likes me. I think he just sympathises with me because of him hitting me with his car.

I don't want to destroy my new family because of a feeling I am not even clear of. I don't know if I had such a beautiful family and friends after death of my parents in my previous life but I will never leave such a precious family who helped me a lot behind. I hope that I can find a way to repay their kindness.

But I don't think I can stay here for a long period of time. I don't want to inflict my new family into the mess of my previous life. I hope that those people who tried to hurt me don't come down to strike at Sid and his family.

I just hope that I regain my memories and find a way to solve all that mess. Even if I have to leave my family behind to keep them safe I will not hesitate about it. I just hope that these good people live a safe and peaceful life.
