C1 Auction

Las Vegas, three levels underground, an auction was underway. The room was filled with the world's elite, but today, both the quality and quantity of items were far beyond the usual.

"This is the final item of the evening," the auctioneer announced. "As you may have noticed in your auction catalogs, this is not an object, but a person."

The crowd of wealthy individuals buzzed with surprise. Each page of the catalog featured clear images, but the last item was only a dark silhouette, unmistakably that of a woman. While auctioning women wasn't unprecedented, placing this woman as the highlight of the event indicated she was extraordinary.

The auctioneer gestured for silence before continuing, "I call her the 'Fallen Angel.'"

As soon as he spoke, a square crystal casket rose from beneath the stage, draped in black silk, obscuring its contents.

"The starting bid is three million dollars. For every additional million, we'll raise the cloth by four inches. Now, let's begin the bidding."

Three million dollars? The affluent attendees, who had traveled from all over the world, were taken aback—not because they found it expensive, as each had a fortune worth billions. Their surprise stemmed from the unusually high starting price. Previous auctions of women had started at mere hundreds of thousands.

Yet, these seasoned bidders trusted the auction's pricing, or they wouldn't have gathered here today.

This piqued the curiosity of the wealthy about the "Fallen Angel" to an unprecedented level.

"Four million!"

A voice, altered by a voice changer, echoed from VIP Room Five.

The black silk cloth covering the crystal coffin slowly lifted, revealing a pair of tiny feet.

They were as pure as ivory, flawless like jade.

Under the auction stage lights, they appeared as a peerless work of art.

"Five million."

Someone quickly raised the bid.

The cloth lifted further, exposing the girl's entire lower leg, smooth as white porcelain, breathtakingly beautiful.

The wealthy felt an itch of anticipation, eager to see the girl's face.

"Eight million."

"Ten million."

"Fifteen million."

...

The bidding grew more frenzied and urgent as the girl's body was revealed up to her neck.

She reclined on a throne adorned with intricate golden patterns, a black strapless dress barely covering her thighs, with cutouts at the waist highlighting her perfect curves.

Most striking were the exquisite black wings behind her, paired with silky black hair cascading over her chest, leaving everyone in awe.

Indeed, she was a "Fallen Angel."

"Thirty million."

The initial bidder from VIP Room Five spoke again, driving the auction to an unprecedented climax.

Even though they had seen countless treasures, at that moment, the wealthy attendees focused intently on the silk cloth being slowly lifted.

Finally, the silk was fully unveiled, and the crowd gasped, followed by heavy sighs.

The girl's upper face was hidden by a black mask, revealing lips painted with a vivid red.

This splash of red, against an almost entirely black backdrop, was as striking as the midday sun, stirring the most primal desires within.

"Look at her eyes."

A voice of surprise echoed from one of the private rooms, drawing everyone's gaze.

They discovered that the girl’s eyes were open.

Her pupils glimmered with the deep shine of black gemstones, taking on an eerie, shadowy hue in the dim light.

Deep within her eyes, there was a barely perceptible fierceness and rage, as if silently protesting her current situation.

She masked it well.

If he hadn’t been watching her eyes from the start, he might not have noticed.

This was the ace he wanted.

In the eighth private room, a man who had remained still finally leaned forward, speaking into the voice-altering microphone with cool, thin lips.

"One hundred million."
