C2 Slave

Su Ranxi slowly opened her eyes, feeling a heavy dizziness. Instinctively, she tried to move, but found she couldn't. She attempted to lift a finger, but even that was impossible, let alone her legs.

Is the effect of the drug not worn off yet?

Moonlight streamed through the room's only window, catching her eye as she surveyed her surroundings. It was a large, circular bedroom, empty except for the bed beneath her. Her previous outfit had been replaced with a sheer black gown, and even in the dim moonlight, her graceful form was visible beneath it. Most importantly, she realized she was unclothed.

Just as the thought crossed her mind, she heard a door open somewhere out of sight.

"Master, I wish you a pleasant evening," a sweet voice chimed in her ears, causing her pupils to contract.

What era is this, with people still using such titles?

Where was she now? Who had bought her?

"Mm," came a soft nasal response, followed by the sound of the door closing.

Ranxi wanted to turn her head to look, but it was a futile effort. She felt like a fish on a cutting board, unable to move. Steady footsteps approached, each one echoing in her chest, making her heart race uncontrollably.

The light overhead suddenly dimmed, and Su Ranxi looked up.

A man stood with his back to the light, his face obscured in shadow. But from the sharp outline of his jaw, highlighted by the moonlight, he seemed to be quite handsome.

"From now on, I am your master," he declared with the authority of a king.

Su Ranxi chuckled. "Did you escape from a mental hospital? Aren't they looking for you?"

A man who could spend a billion dollars to buy her was certainly no ordinary person. Since she couldn't avoid a tragic end, she figured she might as well indulge in some verbal sparring.

The air pressure seemed to drop inexplicably as the man leaned down, bringing his face close to hers. In the faint light, the first thing she noticed was his dark blue eyes, mysterious and captivating, glinting with an unsettling allure.

"You've got a lot of nerve," he said, his breath brushing against her nose, surprisingly pleasant.

She suddenly felt grateful that it was this man who had bought her; it was certainly better than being owned by some sleazy old man.

"You really are bold," he repeated, noticing the dazed look in her eyes. His fingers, seemingly gentle but actually firm, gripped her chin.

Su Ranxi felt like her jaw was caught in a vise, the pain threatening to shatter it. Yet, despite the agony, she only furrowed her brow.

Her eyes glinted with sarcasm. "Thanks for the compliment."

Her lips, red as autumn leaves, moved vividly in the night, captivating and bold. The man felt a surge of heat rise within him, and in the next moment, he captured that relentless mouth with his own.

Su Ranxi was caught off guard, too stunned to react until the sting of his tongue against hers snapped her back, causing her teeth to clench tightly.

The man grunted and pulled back.

Suddenly, the moonlight brightened, revealing his face to Su Ranxi. His eyebrows were like distant hills, his nose was sharply defined, and his thin lips were pressed into a firm line. His dark blue eyes glowed with an unsettling light, flickering with a fire that made her heart race.

He was refined, aloof, and dangerously intense.

"Don't forget, you're just the... servant I purchased." The last two words were deliberately emphasized.

His fingers gripped the collar of Su Ranxi's nightgown, yanking it hard, and the sound of buttons scattering across the floor echoed sharply.

Her heart sank like a stone thrown into a pond, plummeting into the depths.
