C22 Run!!

Sheila’s POV.

I stood at the gate of the school I had join in two months but was leaving for good, I was seriously unhappy. What if I don't get to join college? God I'm going to miss my friend Lizzy. I wore my uniform for the last time, my proprietor didn't want me to leave but it was now or never. Lydia skipped class to accompany me to Ben's school, I tried to stop her but she wouldn't even look my way but lad the way.

Yes I was going there without knowing the reason because my certificates were burnt.

“Lyd erm how is Aaron doing since the day I left Lucky's place I haven't seen him. ” I said.

“He's good, just like you he likes staying indoors. ” said Lydia.

“OK I hope he's fine, have you seen him yourself? ” I asked

“No I haven't, hey are you crushing on the boy? I think he likes you too. See he doesn't like speaking with strangers, he....” She was staying.

“One I never said I was crushing on him, two I don't like speaking to strangers too and three what were you going to say?” I said.

“Nothing I think you guys are a match made in heaven. ” she said.

“OK shut up already, he is a poor boy who only has his mother as a relative. So go easy on him okay?” she said.

“Well he has one but I have none. ” I said

“What do you mean you have your parents and brother. ” said Lydia.

“Yes I do see my mother and brother but I don't even know how my father is doing, he calls my mother I guess but he hasn't spoken to me in six years now. He is a DOA dead or alive to me, since his presence or absence doesn't change anything at all in my life. ” I said.

“I believe he's OK if not how will your mother be able to still keep the house?” she asked.

“Yeah I get you. ” I said

The campus looked calm I wished that the people and everything in it would be the same, calm, but if wishes were to come to pass I would be a Disney princess instead the situation I was in killed that wish.

My brother ran towards me in glasses with a sleeveless white shirt and a black trousers with black and white shoes. Damn I didn't know until then that my brother was this handsome.

“Hey ladies how do you do?” he asked

Lydia who stood beside me blushed heavily, God Lucky has got a competitor. Ben looked at her smirking.

“Okay snap out of it guys why did you call me here?” I asked

“ Let's go you will find out soon. ” he said.

“Okay Lydia let's go. ” I said

“Is that your name? I'm Ben. ” he said.

“Yes that's my name I was little occupied so I didn't introduce myself. ” said Lydia

“You aren't alone same here.

Guys we don't have the whole day do we?” I asked.

We walked the campus to wherever I didn't know, people looked at our way, some whispering and others looked annoyed. So I asked.

“Ben why all these stares I don't think am I some a star of some sort?”

“It's isn't you trust me, some are just curious and others jealous.

Jealous of what?” I asked.

“You of course” he said

“Why?” I asked.

“Oh God I didn't know you liked talking like this, why didn't I know this?” he asked

“You know nothing, so just answer me why the curiosity and jealousy?” I said and he looked offended.

“Your brother is just popular so deal with it, be strong okay? Little sis. ” said Ben.

‘This guy wouldn't stop being weird, calling me Little Sis and all’ I thought

“Whatever! why are you popular?” I asked again.

He turned towards me and held my cheeks I brushed them off. Looking a little angry, he said,

“Okay cutie enough already you will have to find out yourself. Okay?” asked Ben.

We entered the admission block still I didn't know what was happening, then I saw someone who looked familiar no very familiar ‘oh I know him right? I wouldn't be wrong right?’ I thought, He leaned on the wall on the hallway in total black I meant, black hair, dark shades, black shirt, black trousers and black sneakers. ‘Now that he hasn't seen me it's the best time to run’ I thought, so I turned around. Lydia and Ben looked at me as if they had seen a zombie, I guessed that weird I counted to ten and turned back oh God he was still there but this time our eyes met. So it was time to run.

Run!!
