C7 Woman's Abus

Third Person POV

The gateman drowsily watched her surprised, he looked down at her dress and messy hair and thought,

‘Has she gone wrong because of that's woman's abuse?’

But then shook his head and thought that it could never happen because she loved her mother like her second skin so there was no way she could go against her rules. So he inquired,

“When did you start making friends and why are you dressed like this? Did something happen here when I went to the market?”

“Abu please let it go, I am both hungry and tired. I will go inside now have a good night. ” She said and made her way to the house but Abu said something which stopped her in her tracks.

“Oh sorry I forgot to tell you that, the security locks has been enabled, no one can go inside and it apply to coming from inside too. Unless the madam opens up herself. ”

“What? how come I didn't know about this before?”

“It's because it was installed today, I might not be needed later in life in this house. ” Abu said in a low voice.

“Then how were you able to open up the gate?” Sheila inquired curiously.

“It's because, it hasn't being installed there yet, the security personnel was to finish the work today but they were short on a wire that needed to be connected to finish the installation so they went back but are yet to return. ” Abu explained.

“So if they had finished their work, I would be locked out there the whole night? And why do I feel this was because of me? Please call her to open up the door for me. ” Sheila concluded.

“Hmm, I don't think that would be helpful anyway. I have been told not to call her after ten. ” He told her helplessly.

“Abu please help me, I don't think you would be sacked from your job because of this, and if it so happens, I will take the blame. ” She pleaded.

“Okay then let's try calling her. ” He said.

They called her number the millionth time but she either hanged up or didn't pick up at all.

“At this rate how will they notice if something happens out here? You are on your own Ali. Please call Ben then maybe he hasn't slept now. ” She said worriedly.

They tried his phone too but then after a few rings, the phone was hanged up. They called back and then it wasn't reachable. Abu kept the phone aside and looked at her pitifully, all her eyes had become puffy from crying.

Abu then suggested,

“How about you sleep in my room? I will stay out here till the next morning, and there's food in the room. Help yourself with it and I will see tomorrow okay?”

She nodded sadly and made her way into the room. She got into the room and saw that except the bed Abu had woken up from, everything else was in order.
