My stomach hurts, it's as if I was hit by a truck. Lady Lacey has some spunk and the strength to match it. I wanted to kill at least one of them but I couldn't, there's some rules to that playground. It's rare that someone fights the council and wins, they mostly end up getting what they need by not dying in the introductory two minutes of combat
