C13 CHAPTER 13

MEGHAN's POV

I woke up early. I quickly got up to fix myself even though I had nowhere to go. Fortunately, the Maid lent me Sapphire's laptop here. I need to use it to carry out my plan. I have to monitor all the actions of Lucas actions and those who filed lawsuits against him before. They may be telling the truth of Gov.

Since this happened, I have wanted to achieve justice. When you are poor, you lose. So I decided to do my best to imprison Gov and pay for his sins.

That is my third call to Sapp. But she still does not answer. Yesterday, when I called her, she was suddenly cut off. I don't think anything wrong happened because she was with her family.

"Sapp, what happened?" I whispered to myself while looking at my phone.

It's just amazing that she can't answer it for long. I called five times, but Sapphire still did not respond.

"Ma'am, eat first,"

I was surprised by the speaker from behind me. It's just the Maid.

"All right, Manang. Thank you!" I wish her well.

I turned off the call before I went to the kitchen and ate. After I ate, I went out to get some air. I miss the fresh air. It's nice to live here because the air is new compared to our place.

Satisfied, I went inside and started researching.

"Marjorie Santos," I read in writing from the laptop.

This woman also complained. If then, I hated her. Now I feel sorry for her because I know Gov, like me, used her.

"Amber West."

I was surprised to see her picture. The woman's face on the screen was familiar. It was as if I had seen him somewhere.

I was about to move when I suddenly remembered her.

She is! She is the wife of Gov! Lucas Lewis' legal wife! She is so beautiful. You can say they are a perfect couple.

She is the CEO of a beauty product. She lives in Australia, and they have a house in France.

I even searched for details about erm, but it was already private.

I minimize the women who filed the case with Gov. I need to talk to them. I can do anything for him to pay the Gov for all his nonsense.

A few hours passed. I did not realize it was night. I was so curious about the things I just found out.

I was about to close the laptop when Sapphire called my phone. Miracle! I answered immediately.

"Girl! I've been calling you before! I already know a lot! Why don't you answer?" I told her at length.

But I was surprised by what she said next.

"G-girl. S-sorry!" he cried on the other line.

So I was even more confused by what she said.

"Huh? I don't understand. Why are you crying?" I asked her.

She did not say a word, and I heard her breathing deeply.

"G-girl, I'm sorry," I still heard her sob on the other line.

I was still confused listening to her when there was a knock on my bedroom door.

"S-sorry ..." she said before I decided to come and open the door.

I almost let go of the phone I held when I opened it. I was stunned when I saw Lucas outside the door.

"G-girl? Girl!"

I could not move when I saw his staff from behind him.

"Hi, baby girl."

All my hair stood on end when I heard his voice. I glared at him as he smiled like a demon.

"Do you miss me? Baby Girl?"

He slowly approached me, so I quickly picked up the hard object I had dug from the table.

"Don't you dare to come near me!" I shouted as I was about to throw the vase I held at him.

But he just smiled as if he was not afraid that I might throw the vase I was holding, but he came even closer. That's why I just backed away so he couldn't get close.

"Don't be scared, baby girl; I can't hurt you." He just smiled and continued to approach me.

"I SAID STAY AWAY FROM ME!" I shouted at him, but he seemed to hear nothing as before.

I did not realize that I was not going to back down. Lucas just kept on insulting me until he could get close to me.

I was about to throw the vase at him when I felt his hand holding my hand, so I could not throw the vase. He quickly took it and threw it somewhere. I leaned against the cabinet while he moved his body closer to mine. I felt his lips touch my neck.

"Fuck! I miss you!" he said while kissing my neck.

I pushed him quickly, but he just held my hand not to do what I wanted. I remained sideways as he kissed my neck. I can not do anything! When he got bored, I was surprised when he stepped back and looked at his staff.

"Get her."

I was immediately alerted when they approached. The men quickly grabbed my arm; I struggled, but there were four of them so I couldn't handle it either. They forced me out of the room.

"LET ME GO!" I struggle as they hold on.

I saw the Maid in the living room when I came out while men guarded them.

"Sir Lucas, I feel sorry for you! Don't!" said Maid while pleading with Gov.

"Manang Ester, I hope it doesn't spread again." said the Governor, and one of his staff gave him an envelope.

He motioned for the men to take me out.

"LET ME GO! MANANG! HELP!" I shouted while still struggling.

We got outside, and we were in front of Gov's van.

"You beast! Let me go! I'll put you in jail!" I shouted at him, and he smiled.

They forced me into the van of Gov. We were the only two here in the vehicle except for the driver and another man. His other staff was in the other car.

He looked at me sticky. I know where he is looking in my chest. I quickly covered it with my arms.

"YOU! DEMON! LET ME GO!" I got lost here in the van. I slapped him while shouting.

But instead, he walked away. He pressed me against the window and forcibly tore my clothes. He held my two hands, so I could not move.

"HELP! HELP ME!"

I felt his lips touch my cleavage again. I could do nothing but let him do what he was doing. His hand followed, traveling down my chest. I could not move because he squeezed my hands from behind me.

"YOU'RE AN ANIMAL!"

He seemed to stop what he was doing before looking at me. His face was so close to mine. The more boss you have on his face, the more he behaves.

"You are gorgeous. I'll never regret adopting you," Lucas said with a smile as he touched my cheek with his finger down to my lips.

"From now on, until you will die, you're mine."

He quickly kissed me on the lips. I tried to fight him, but he was powerful. As before, I could do nothing but cry. I can not do anything.

"I have a surprise for you later," he said with a smile.

I'm not happy with his surprise, whatever that is. I would be happier if he let me go and confessed his sins!

Fortunately, he stopped; I was silent for a few hours while looking outside. I need to get stuck! Get away from him. This man is going crazy!

"Gov. We are here," said the driver, who was one of Gov's men. I looked around; he was right. We are here at home.

His hell house! My chest throbbed as we entered the gate.

Governor and the others also came down and forcibly grabbed me by the arm again.

They let me in and took me to Gov.

When they released me, I quickly ran to the door, but I met Gov. His staff left, and the two of us were left here.

"This is our room," he said, smiling as if I was his wife.

"You are an animal! You are an animal!" I slapped him again.

But I was surprised when he pushed me to the bed. I felt the pain in my back.

"I'm sure you'll enjoy what I sho to you," he said and pulled out his laptop.

Slowly he presented me with his laptop screen. My eyes widened at who I saw. They were tied up while terrified of the gun pointed at them.

"W-what--"

He laughed like a demon before he looked at me.

"I will not hesitate to kill them in case you run away from me. Do you understand, Baby girl?" He grinned and kissed me suddenly.

"You're beast! What do you need from my family!" I angrily pointed at him and gave him a nasty look.

"Nothing. You, you are all I need, Meghan. You alone."
