C16 CHAPTER 16

MEGHAN's POV

A few days after that happened, I was restless every time I saw Euward talking to Gov. I feel like I'm paranoid every time he's around.

Gov is early to leave now, and he left the house early. So here I am at the pool while ventilating. I need to know the thing he was referring to last night. I heard him talking to me a few nights ago and can't help but think of that thing. All I know is that he seems to be planning something else.

I immediately stood up, and his office was going to pray tomorrow. I need to get evidence against him.

I was about to go inside when someone pulled me to the warehouse. Euward quickly closed the door; fortunately, the window was open, so a light hit the floor. I can see a man. I was immediately surprised to see him, Euward. He looked at me seriously.

"Why don't you tell me, huh ?!" he started angrily...

"E-Euward, let me explain ..." I tried to explain, but he spoke.

"Did you plan all this ?! How did you do that thing, huh ?!" he growled.

"E-Euward no! I-I didn't know you were his child-"

"HAHAHA! Are you kidding me? How did you bother to get a relationship with him? And my father?" he laughed heartily at me. I want to explain everything. Report Lucas, but he doesn't seem to believe me.

"Euward, I will explain," I told him.

"How come you are the one my dad replaced with my mom? She is very respectful compared to you."

I was suddenly offended by what he said. It was excruciating then.

"E-euward I will explain ..."

"For what? Round my brain, Meghan? How do you enjoy having sex with him? Is it because of money? Or because of his manhood–"

I quickly slapped him hard, and I could not restrain myself. Even my tears flowed when he mentioned that. I can see that he was surprised by what I did to him.

"You have no right to judge me, Euward! You know nothing of what happened!" I cried as I told him. He was still shocked, looking at me.

"You don't know what I went through at your father's hand! I thought you were different, but you are just like him! You are just like your demon father!" I shouted before I left the warehouse. I run as tears well up in my eyes.

It's just the pain that he told me. That came from himself. He didn't even explain me!

I went straight to the bedroom and let myself cry; after that, I immediately got dressed and went out.

"Girl, what? You've been there for an hour!" he said while looking at me.

"Sapp ..." I started crying. He is waiting for what I will say next.

"Euward, and the man I had sex with before. They are just one ..."

"What ?!" she shouted as the expression startled. She could not believe what I said.

"WHAT THE HELL ?! HOW ?!" she asked, confused.

"H-he was very angry with me. Euward looked down on me so low," I said tearfully, and Sapphire put me down while caressing my back.

"Girl, it's not your fault; Tito is to blame for your situation!" he says.

I just cried while saying that.

"He is very angry with me. It's just a pain that he thinks like that to me. I-I don't know, I-I don't know that he is the son of Gov. I-I do not know that this will be my situation. "

"Everything will be okay too, huh? By the way, how come you met?" he asked.

"Because of Celine. She introduced me to him. The time you didn't bring me to the bar," I explained.

After we talked, I just decided to go home. For sure, Gov. Earlier soy called.

When I got home, the house was quiet. So I went straight up. As soon as I entered the room, Lucas locked it. So I knocked. Just a few knocks opened it, and Gov was behind the door. I entered and heard him lock it again. But I was surprised to see how well he was. I suddenly turned around so that I could not see it. I felt him approach me. He smelled my hair.
