C19 CHAPTER 19

EDWARD'S POV

I am here at Uncle Andres' house, Aunt Ashley sent me, so I gave in too.

"Oh, Jace! Long time no see! You've come home to the Philippines!" Gian said to me, and we both shook hands.

When she was tired and failed, she walked away from the door when she hit me.

"E-Euward ..." she said in shock when he saw me.

She was about to leave when I pulled her back.

"I have to go," I said and went out. I got in the car before driving.

She is not in bed. I heard the shower turn off in the bathroom. Just a few minutes later, I heard the door open. I slowly approached. And I saw her, and she was in a bathrobe while looking for something to wear. I was a little hurt by what I saw; why did she take a bath? Is it because Dad is coming? And will they do that again? But instead of getting angry, I felt sorry for her.
