C5 CHAPTER 5

MEGHAN's POV

Graduation Day

"Let's Welcome! Our Very Important Guest! Our lovely Governor Lucas Lewis!" the principal said happily while the students applauded.

"Why Gov's still hot?"

"Dad's so handsome!"

I turned to the last speaker, and she probably did not know that I was here in front of her. I saw the silence and the other students gossiping as I turned around.

Dad? I have no sibling, Clown!

"It's you! Feeling famous and rich kid too." said her friend.

I just turned my gaze to them. I have no parents next door, unlike them. I saw Francine talking to Mom and dad. Wow! Supportive parent.

I just listened. Sapphire is next to me. Since I'm Lewis, and she's Nylon, they didn't do anything because I don't want anyone else. The lineup will not be chaotic because we will post later when we go up the stage.

"Chillax, girl. You might be haggard," said Sapp.

They had already started marching in the middle as I crossed my arms while listening to their names.

"CREDO, FRANCINE." Everyone applauded. I saw my Mom and dad go upstairs while happily shaking their hands and taking pictures with Francine.

"Calm down, girl. We are near."

"What? I'm just calm. I don't fucking care." I said and stared at them.

I looked at the Gov who was looking at me. I don't know why; maybe he noticed my behavior too. He smiled at me. I hope Aunt Bettina is here.

"What about the bitch of Tito's GF?" Sapp asked.

"I don't know. It's a good thing Marjorie is not here." I said.

Fortunately, Gov did not invite her to come here. I don't want her here.

"Andres, Gian Hiro," I looked without emotion and saw Dean climbing up with his wife Gian's Mom.

Francine was all applauding. But I was surprised when she turned where his Mom smiled at me. I just raised an eyebrow at her and stared. My classmate applauded Gian, so we girls stood up after being called the boys.

They are with their Mom and dad. While I am here, I can march alone. Gov is in front. So we're separate before going up on stage.

As time went on, I got closer and closer to the stage. It's okay that Marjorie is with me.

"I'm even more blessed, and that woman is not here!"

"Don't you want me here?"

I was distracted by someone speaking behind me. I did not realize that I had ejaculated what was in my brain. When I turned around, I saw Aunt Bettina smiling.

"Auntie!" I hugged her.

I did not expect her to be here to go up with me.

"Lewis, Meghan Hale Carlos!"

I was happy to go up and Gov. They look like my Mom and dad when it comes to acting. My day is over.

A few hours passed, and the teacher called the high honors. I would have been when I met Mom and dad with Francine. I ignored them and started queuing.

"Our daughter ..."

I did not look back; Meghan is my name, not Anya.

This time, Tita Bettina lined up with me. As well as Gov. Francine is behind me. So I heard them talking.

"Meghan. Mom called you," she said to me as we lined up in the back.

"For what?" I faced them while raising an eyebrow.

"Congratulations, son," Mom greeted me with a smile while Dad looked at me seriously.

"Thank you," before I turned my back on them.

I know others are watching me with Aunt Bettina and Gov., But I didn't say a word, and we walked in the middle.

“Our MagnaCumlaude! Lewis, Meghan Hale Carlos!"

Their applause was so loud. We are the only ones walking here in the middle of the stage.

My speech ended, and now, I had no desire to look outside while Francine started speaking.

A few more hours passed, and the awarding also ended. They are happy to graduate. They are also excited, not just as glad to Francine and other students whose whole family is very proud even without honor. Tita and I were about to get in the car when my MomMom called me.

I did not want to look at them. Francine and Gian were with her.

"Anya, my daughter ..."

"How many times do I tell you that I'm Meghan, not Anya. What do you want?" I am listless to ask.

"And you have a disrespectful child-"

"Please, I'm tired. If you have nothing to say, I have to go," I was about to get into the car when my MomMom stopped me.

She handed me a small box.

"Congratulations, Hija," she said with a smile before they walked away.

I was stunned to see what the contents of that little box were. I saw a necklace.

That is the necklace I wanted to buy then. My parent didn't buy this because they would evict me because of Francine's bad ideas.

I did not notice that there were tears in my eyes. I was crying. I looked at them again, but it also broke quickly when I saw Francine and Gian were happy. They were Mom and Dad.

I shrugged and got into the car.

"I'm so proud of you, Baby Girl." Aunt Bettina said happily to me. I just smiled and hugged her.

"Auntie, are you going home yet?" I asked her.

She smiled before speaking.

"I'm sorry, Hija, but Gov and I are already broke for a long time. And we will never get back together," she said to me.

"But Tita, I don't like that stupid woman! I don't want her to be a step-mom!" I growled.

She smiled and straightened my hair.

"Aunt, do you eat at home, please?"

"Sure."

A few hours passed, and we got home. I kept Tita at home while Manang and I met.

"Ma'am Meghan! Ma'am Bettina! Good, and you are here," Manang and other helpers greeted us warmly.

I took my aunt to the living room while waiting for Gov. He invited many guests, so the guests were there when we entered the garden.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" They greeted me warmly.

Just a few minutes passed, and Gov arrived with the other guests. We just shook our hands. But Manang came here and whispered something to me.

"Ma'am Meghan, Marjorie is outside," Manang said to me, which surprised me.

What is that flirtatious woman doing here? I apologized to them. Manang and Tita Bettina followed me. When I came out of the house, I saw her knocking on our gate. Fortunately, it wasn't quiet here, so they could not hear in the garden.

"And the thickness of your face to scandalize here in our house." I cross my arm to her while standing opposite the gate.

"WHERE IS LUCAS ?! LUCAS! I'm JUST LUCAS WIFE!" she looks like she's going crazy during Gov.

"Hey, stupid woman! Stop me, get out of here if you don't want to be picked up by the NBI!"

That stressed me out to her. She seems to be losing herself. But she was still unmoved. She was still shaking the gate, so I thought she would taste my slap when she opened the gate.

"What's wrong with you?!" I pissed I said as I walked out.

"You bastard! Lucas left me because of you!Flirt!"

I was surprised when she rushed Tita Bettina. But before she could do that, I stopped her.

"Look at yourself, stupid slut! Shut up! Gov. doesn't like you. Just accept the fact that he's just entertained to you!" I said.

I do not know, but he suddenly smiled.

"What happens here-- Marjorie? What are you doing here ?!" An angry question of the incoming Gov.

"Lucas, honey!" she quickly hugged Gov as if there was no tomorrow.

"Marjorie! What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you not to come back here?!" Gov removed bitch's hands from his arm.

"I will not allow Lucas! I will not allow you to go back to that woman! Because I am pregnant!"

We did not expect her to say that. What is she pregnant with? Is she still pregnant in that condition?

"HAHAHAA! YES, I'M PREGNANT! SO YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ME! AND YOU WOMAN! FORGIVE LUCAS! I AM BETTER AND FRESH THAN YOU!" she said as she turned to Gov.

"Fresh? Are you kidding? Don't fool us here. Aren't the beast not pregnant? So how did you get pregnant?" I told him.

"Meghan ..." Tita stopped me.

"Come on inside. I'll take care of it." Gov ordered, so I looked at him badly before staring and entering the house.

Tita did not stay long, and she went home. Is Marjorie the reason she does not want to get back with Gov?
