C6 CHAPTER 6

MEGHAN's POV

"Omy Meghan! You're here!"

I was surprised when someone called my name, so I turned to the source of that voice. And I saw Celine, a friend of mine.

"Cessy?! When did you go home to the Philippines?" I asked and hugged him.

"Just last month, Girl, how are you? I heard you are the Magna cumlaude?" she said while smiling at me.

"Ah yeah, I graduated last week. So how are you? You look gorgeous!" I asked her excitedly.

"I'm fine, Girl. Oh wait, What are you doing here?" Celine asked me.

Because I'm here at the gate of the Bar, Sapp and I have a hangout, but Sapphire didn't come.

"Are you alone?" she asked in astonishment.

"Hmm, yeah. I plan to go home since Sapphire is busy." I answered her.

"No need, Girl. You can join us," she said, smiling.

"Us?" I asked again.

She turned, and I saw some men with her. There are four men and one woman.

"Guys come here!" she shouts at them. I saw them approach.

"Guys, She's Anya-- I mean Meghan."

I don't know if she meant that, or she just really slipped. There is no reason for her to mention my name.

"I'm Yuan. Nice to meet you." a thin, handsome guy said too.

"I'm Joshua, and this is my girlfriend, Beatrice."

"Hi, miss beautiful! I'm Jeremy. The hottest guy in town. And this is -"

"Euward."

I'm a little awkward. That guy looked at me thoughtfully as if heaven and earth had fallen.

They were also stunned, so no one spoke.

"I'm Meghan," I answered them, smiling.

"Let's go?" Celine nodded and went inside.

We went straight to a table. Celine and Yuan ordered drinks. When they sat, I smelled something fishy for them.

"So, how are you, Miss Meghan?" Jeremy asked while smiling at me. I don't know, but he is handsome.

"I'm fine." I also smiled in response to him. We've been talking since we were side by side.

Celine and I also arrived with wine.

"You're great," Jeremy said with a smile as our faces were almost touching. It wasn't quite here, so he approached.

"I planned to live here."

"Really? Sound great!"

"Yup! I want to see you," he said, smiling.

"Hey, Jeremy! Stop flirting, Meghan! That's Sapphire's best friend." Celine said. Jeremy's face changed when Celine said that.

"Is that true?" he asked.

I nodded, he moved away from a little, so I was suddenly curious. What is the problem?

"Excuse me," he said and left.

"Sapphire didn't tell you? Jeremy is her ex-boyfriend."

My mouth dropped open when I found out that. Seriously? Is he the man Sapphire says is his ex? He didn't want to talk about it anymore, so I didn't ask. All I know is that they love each other, but the man left.

"Let's go! Let's go to the dance floor!" Beatrice is with us.

"I'm fine; I stay here," I replied, smiling.

"Are you sure?" she asked.

"Yeah," I replied while I was smiling.

I was left here, and almost all of them were on the dance floor. I just sipped the wine in the glass before looking around.

"Hi, miss!" I looked at the man who came. He looked decent. But I was surprised when he suddenly stood beside me.

"Are you alone?" he asked, smiling.

"No. Excuse me." I slipped, and I would have stood up when he pulled me, so I lay down on the sofa.

"Let me go!"

He was about to kiss me, but that did not happen because he quickly jumped to the other table.

I just saw it run away quickly. I stood up and adjusted myself.

Before I looked at the man who helped me, I saw that he was looking at me.

Euward.

"Are you okay?" he asked me and helped me to my feet.

"Y-yeah." embarrassed I said; I was surprised when he adjusted the strap of my dress.

We stared at each other for a moment. I do not know, but why are that guy eyes like this? I could not avoid his gaze. His eyes were like a magnet that I could not turn my eyes away from others.

"Oh My! It's good and--"

We came back to reality when they spoke to Celine. They caught up with us like this. So I quickly walked away from him.

I continued to drink and tried to forget his eyes. I also do not know why I can think of his eyes until now. Maybe he's a fairy?

I was a little dizzy, so I thought of going home. I'll text Mang Edgar to pick me up.

Governor is in Cebu, and someone is taking care of it. I said goodbye to them. I was about to leave the Bar, and Mang Edgar was about to text someone to fetch me. Soon a fast car passed by. So we fell into the mud.

"Are you okay?"

I looked into his eyes again. Why is it like this? He just stared at me too.

A few minutes later, he quickly averted his eyes, so I just managed to avert my eyes and stood up.

Our clothes are all mud.

"I think we need to change our clothes. Let's go?" Euward asked with a smile as he waited for my answer.

"A-ah, Yeah." I just smiled and answered before walking.

My weird! Maybe it was with alcohol earlier.

I was surprised when he opened a car. So I wonder, looking.

"Your car?" I asked him.

"Hmm, Nope," he answered thoughtfully.

If he didn't have a car, why did he open it?

"You are carnapper ?!"

I was surprised when he suddenly laughed. He was handsome when he started smiling, but Euward was even more attractive than Jeremy.

"Jeremy's car. I don't have a car, maybe tomorrow," he says.

I just nodded and went inside. Euward was driving. Of course! Where will he take me?! Maybe this man is a syndicate or a thief! I'm so bad!

"Is there a problem?" he asked.

"Where will we go?" I will ask. It's up to him. I felt nervous.

He did not answer me, but soon we stopped. I looked out the window to see where we were.

I was about to leave when I felt dizzy. It looks like I'm drinking a lot. I also did not enjoy drinking last week.
