C2 Another World

Anaxtra returned to his skateboard, his eyes fixed on the high wall in front of him. Slowly his Flying Surfboard floated towards the wall.

"Don't be too tense, just relax!" his father shouted from below.

"Come on spirit, Anaxtra! You definitely can!" shouted Peter and Lilia, giving an encouragement to Anaxtra.

Anaxtra takes the position of the body upright, the left leg is behind while the leg in front is like a person will run.

Anaxtra held his temple, then a small screen in the shape of glasses was plastered in front of his eyes.

The screen is a radar monitor that is able to detect the movement of an object. With those glasses Anaxtra looked back at his surroundings more closely.

"Anaxtra! Anaxtra! do you hear me?" his father's voice came from a communication chip embedded in his ear.

"I heard you, Dad," Anaxtra said, activating the answer mode.

"Your voice sounds dotted, are you okay?" again his father's voice rang out.

The communication device used by the inhabitants of the Dieng Valley is a chip planted around the ear, this chip can communicate both ways during getting a signal of the same frequency, while the call or answer mode only needs to touch the skin around the ear.

"I'm fine!" said Anaxtra still watching the surroundings with a radar monitor.

Pip... Pip... Pip... Pip...

Monitors’ radar captured five fast-moving red dots, Anaxtra tried to enlarge the device's reach, but the five red dots moved quickly away and disappeared from radar range.

"What thing, is that?" muttered Anaxtra.

"Are you talking to me?" came his father's voice from his still-active communication device.

"Hurry back, Anaxtra! We're worried that something will happen to you!"

"Alright, I'll be down soon!"

Anaxtra is still curious about what has just been seen from his monitor, but because he does not want to make his father anxious, he undoes his intention to investigate further.

Anaxtra turned off his communication device and closed the radar that was still plastered in front of his eyes. He returned to the Flying Surfboard and floated around the cliff towards the Dieng Valley.

If a person who had never entered the Dieng Valley, a moment from where Anaxtra stood, the existence of the Dieng valley would never be known from above there only a white cloud was seen. It is only fitting that the Dieng Valley is very protected.

Anaxtra swooped slowly along the edge of the cliff, he had to keep his distance between the cliff and the Flying Surfboard for the sensors to work and keep it hovering. Otherwise, his body can immediately slump because the sensor's distance with the object cannot travel 10 meters.

Avalon, Lilia and Peter watched Anaxtra drift down closely.

"Is the above more beautiful than here?" Lilia interrupted impatiently.

"I think it's working well, Dad."

Avalon smiled with satisfaction.

"Make one for me, Uncle!" said Peter.

"Me too, Uncle!" said Lilia not to be outdone.

"Hi... You're a girl, why do you always want to compete with us?" protested Peter.

Lilia stuck out her tongue, "As long as uncle doesn't mind, why are you protesting?"

Peter couldn't say anymore.

"You guys don't need to fight, I'll definitely make it for you." Avalon said to break up the two brothers' commotion.

Lilia jumped for joy.

"Anaxtra, give me that Flying Surfboard! I'll be home soon to make some more."

Anaxtra got off the Flying Surfboard he was still riding.

"Maybe I can still modify this tool, such as adding a laser weapon for example. Or add anti-fog lights to lighting if driving at night," Anaxtra said later.

Avalon thought for a moment,

"I'll think about it!" he said as he boarded the Flying Surfboard.

"Lilia, you come home with Uncle! Me and Anaxtra still want to be here for a little practice."

Lilia hesitated a little.

"Come on, go up! All uncles want to try the carrying capacity of this tool," Avalon agreed.

Lilia stuck her shoulders, "Alright!"

Then without hesitation Lilia climbed onto the Flying Surfboard, she stood behind Avalon and aligned her legs with Avalon's legs.

"Hold on to me, we'll leave soon!" said Avalon.

The Flying Surfboard then floated and immediately slid leaving Anaxtra and Peter still standing there.

There was no significant change, the Flying Surfboard was still functioning perfectly, only its buoyancy was slightly reduced. If climbed by one person, the height can reach 10 meters. But because there are two loads, the height can only be limited to 6 meters.

But it's better than before the sensor was installed, because previously it was only able to float as high as 7 meters for one passenger and decreased to 5 meters with 2 passengers.

"Tell me, Anaxtra! What do you see up there?" asked Peter fully.
