C3 Prepare to Leave

"Is there anything you're afraid of, Peter?" asked Anaxtra earnestly.

"Whatever's out there, it's something we have to deal with, not avoid!"

"So, prepare us well!"

Anaxtra suddenly jumped into the middle of the river, after his feet stepped on the large rock that was in the middle of the river, the growth again floated upwards and spinning in the air. Anaxtra fired three laser shots from his left hand towards the trees that were far away on the banks of the river.

Boom!!!

The large tree that was hit by the shot was immediately uprooted with the side crushed.

Anaxtra's body landed back on the rock where she was walking, this time she jumped again, but in contrast to the jump earlier, she made a leap backwards and returned to Spinning in the air while saying,

"Come on, Peter! Play with me."

Then Anaxtra picked up a match-like object tucked into his right thigh. It only has a length of no more than 15 cm. When the object was in Anaxtra's grasp, instantly it emitted an elongated light measuring 1 meter. It turned into a bluish-green laser sword.

Peter who heard of Anaxtra's challenge did the same thing; he took out the exact same thing that Anaxtra had.

"All right, you just wait for me!" said Peter.

Before Anaxtra's body landed again, Peter who had already taken out his laser sword, jumped swinging his sword attacking towards Anaxtra. Anaxtra didn't try to dodge, she just swung her sword to fend off Peter's attack. Several sparks of spark came out from the two swords that were clashing.

Peter, whose sword slash was blocked, bounced back to where he stood, while Anaxtra, who was still in a position to float in the air, was forced to land faster due to the thrust of the impact.

"You are cheating! You attacked me when I wasn't ready," Anaxtra said.

Then he jumped back towards Peter who was already in a ready position while stapling his sword.

Like duels in the Star Wars films, they continue to practice sharpening their sword-playing skills throughout the day. Occasionally also they make jumps while rolling in the air to attack or avoid attacks. Sometimes they also must dive for a long time to train their breathing.

Anaxtra and Peter lay down their bodies staring into the sky, their entire bodies soaked by the sweat mixed with river water that drenched their bodies.

Anaxtra turned towards Peter.

"Peter, maybe there's a life out there besides us."

Peter stared fixedly at Anaxtra,

Anaxtra got up and sat down. Peter also woke up from his fall.

With a staring look, Anaxtra told a story.

"Up there like this valley, there is land that stretches, but it has very extreme heat."

"I don't know for sure if there's life up there, but what I do know is that as long as there's a place, there must be creatures inhabiting it."

"Don't you use radar sensors to make sure?" asked Peter.

"I tried it, but I can't be sure yet. When I use my vision sensor radar, the monitor captures very fast movements away from me, not one, but five."

"Why don't you chase him?"

"It's too far away, even my vision sensor can't reach it. I think maybe the land up there is very large."

Peter's face showed more curiosity.

"Are they dangerous?"

Peter just nodded.

"Then I will always be with you!" said Peter, wrapping his hand around Anaxtra's shoulder.

Anaxtra simply smiled, "Then let's go home! Let's see if dad can finish making the Flying Surfboard for us."

Peter replied with a smile, then the two both stood up to go home immediately.

"Chase me, Peter!" said Anaxtra, who had already jumped up and ran away from Peter.

"Habit! You always let me run behind you," sings Peter as he caught up after Anaxtra.

"Wait for me! I can definitely catch up to you," Peter cried.

While in Dieng Valley Village, news of Anaxtra managed to climb the Dieng Cliff spread quickly throughout the valley's inhabitants. Its success cannot be separated from the Flying Surfboards that have experienced significant development. Most valley residents have long been waiting for a means of transportation that can bring them to the surface. For many years from generation to generation they only lived in the very remote circle of Dieng valley. It is a very common desire for humans who always want to know and curious about life in this world. Even though they could explore the earth, they wanted to explore extraterrestrial life. Although there are some who disagree with the world outside. It could be because they don't want to know, or they already know a lot.

No longer a secret, rumors of another life outside the valley have become a hereditary belief.

Early in the morning, residents had gathered in front of Avalon's house, they wanted to see how Anaxtra, Peter and Lilia operated the means of transportation. A short time later, Avalon and the three teenagers came out with their own Flying Surfboards.

"Avalon, are you going to let our kids play too far with your toys?" asked a man in the crowd.

"You don't have to worry about them, Guston! They are adults and can take care of themselves," Avalon said.

"But they don't know what they're going to face up there," Guston insisted.

"Have you ever been up there? Or do you know something up there?" asked Avalon.

Guston took a breath, "That's it!" said Guston, waving his hand.

Avalon just sighed.

"In time, I'll make more for you guys, so you can catch up with them if they need help and play too far." Avalon said.

"I'll see, what kind of modifications have you done, Dad?" said Anaxtra trying to dampen the situation.

Avalon turned to look at Anaxtra, "I call it Gen-3, this Flying Surfboard, in addition to being equipped with a distance sensor, I added an auto pilot feature, and better yet, you can connect it directly and make voice commands," Avalon explained.

"Try your Flying Surfboard! Do sound detection, then this Flying Surfboard will only hear commands from you, then you can connect with other devices such as GPS, or other scanners."

"Peter! Lilia! you can do the same!" said Avalon.
