After Ye Tian returned to the palace, he called over the Prefecture Overseer and instructed him, "Go find a prisoner to replace Zhang Lin Zhan."

"Then what should we do with Zhang Lin?" The Prefecture Overseer asked doubtfully.

"Release him and that Yu Fei. Do you want to know about this?" "If it gets out, we'll exterminate your entire clan." Ye Tian spoke with a serious expression.

When the Prefecture Overseer heard this, he hurriedly kowtowed and said: "This humble subject understands, this matter will not be leaked in the slightest, rest assured Your Majesty."

"Mm, go and do it!" Ye Tian indifferently instructed. After the Prefecture Overseer left, Ye Tian sighed and said, "Zhang Tianlei, I have done my best to repay your Zhang Family."

This matter can be considered to have come to an end. On the morning of the second day, he had the servants change clothes and prepare to go to court. The government is being handled by Prime Minister Dong, so His Majesty can rest in peace. "

"Dong Zhangqing? "Although he is an elder of two dynasties, his actions are overly considerate. My body has more or less recovered, let us take care of it ourselves." Ye Tian indifferently replied.

In the imperial court, Ye Tian was sitting on the dragon throne. There were a lot of military generals standing on the right, led by Zhang Tianlei, while Wen Cheng was on the left, led by an old man with a long beard.

After everyone had bowed, the eunuch at the side said in a clear voice, "If there's anything, let's start. If there's nothing else, we can leave the court."

At this moment, Dong Changqing stood out and bowed. "Reporting to Your Majesty, the floods in the southeast need a large amount of food and money, and the refugees affected have already rebelled because of this matter. Besides, the southern barbarians have started a rebellion, and General Zhennan was sent by the Southern Barbaric King to be assassinated yesterday."

Ye Tian frowned when he heard this and said, "In the southeast flood, Dong Aiqing will be in charge of raising the relief money. If it's really not enough, we'll collect some donations from other places."

"Reporting to Your Majesty, this humble subject has been raising funds for two days now, but unfortunately, the progress has been very small. Originally, this humble subject wanted to request Your Majesty to open the treasury to allocate some money and grains to provide relief, but yesterday, this humble subject investigated and found that due to the military expenditures these few years, the treasury was unable to meet the expenses, and could not provide much money and rations to help." Dong Changqing said respectfully.

"Empty treasury? The vast Chang Long Empire didn't even have enough money to provide disaster relief? How about this, from today onwards, reduce the military expenditure and call for all the civil and military officials to raise funds for the southeast flood disaster. This matter will start from us, and from today onwards, the expenses of the royal family will be reduced by half. There is also Dong Changqing, I will give you a mission to do our best to investigate the embezzlement of officials, to confiscate their properties, and to use them as food for disaster relief. Ye Tian spoke with a serious expression.

When Dong Changqing heard this, he immediately kowtowed, "This humble subject accepts the decree, this humble subject will do his best to survive."

"Alright, get up. As for the matter of the Southern Barbaric King's rebellion, what do you think, Old General Zhang?" Ye Tianlei turned to look at Zhang Tianlei and asked.

To reply Your Majesty, the Land of the Southern Barbarians has always been poor, and the barbarians living there have always been abnormally strong and strong. Their ability to survive is also very strong, and they are also very brave. Zhang Tianlei bowed.

"Sigh, I know that General Zhennan is the proud disciple of the old general. I am sorry that he was killed, but the old general is too old to fight anymore. Let the younger generations do it." Ye Tian advised.

Your Majesty, this old subject wasn't reckless because of the death of General Zhennan. Although this old subject is nearly old, my body is still robust. With the longblade in my hand, I can definitely chop off the head of the Southern Barbaric King and offer it to Your Majesty. Zhang Tianlei kowtowed.

Ye Tian muttered to himself for a moment when he heard this, then said: "Since that's the case, then I shall do my best to advise you. Listen to the decree and bestow upon Zhang Tianlei the title of the Pinnacle General of the Southern Wilderness, to dispatch a hundred thousand troops to pacify the Southern Barbaric Nether Domain."

"General Pioneer? "Your Majesty, why don't you let this old official be your commander-in-chief?" Zhang Tianlei questioned upon hearing this.

Heh heh, old general, don't worry. This time, the commander is me, and I've decided to lead the army personally to show the Southern Barbaric King some of my strength. At the same time, I'll let the four barbarians see what happens if they anger us. Ye Tian smiled.

"Your Majesty, you must not. With your priceless body, how could you risk your life? This old official will lead the troops this time around." Zhang Tianlei advised.

"Hehe, this is the deal then. The troops of our hometown should go back quickly and prepare. We will send out our troops in three days." Ye Tian directly said.

When Zhang Tianlei heard this, he could only accept the order and leave. After that, the other ministers began to report some trivial matters to Ye Tian, who helplessly gave it to Dong Changqing.

In the afternoon, Ye Tian called Dong Zhangqing to his study room. Ye Tian then asked, "Dong Aiqing, do you know why I have called you here?"

"This humble subject does not know, please enlighten me, Your Majesty." Dong Changqing bowed.

"I've asked for you here. Nothing else but to entrust a few matters to you. You have to remember that whether or not I can pacify the Southern Barbaric Nether Domain this time is up to you." Ye Tian lightly said.

When Dong Changqing heard this, he was shocked. He quickly kneeled on the ground and said, "Your Majesty, please speak. This humble servant will not refuse even if I die."

"Hehe, it is not that serious. This time, we will definitely attract the attention of all the forces, you must remember, first, you must guard the capital well, and second, you must not take advantage of the chaos in the southeastern waters." Hehe, it is not that serious, and this time, we will definitely attract all the forces, you must remember, first, you must protect the capital well, and second, you must not take advantage of the chaos in the southeastern waters. Ye Tian smiled.

"This humble subject will remember that." Dong Changqing said with a stern expression.

Hmm, in a while, you will draw up a decree for me to exempt the residents of the south-east disaster area from three years of taxes, at the same time, the taxes in other parts of the country will also be reduced by thirty percent, and the young and strong in the disaster area will be recruited as soldiers to reduce the pressure on you to deal with this matter, and at the same time, you will also be able to calm the people. Ye Tian instructed.

"Your Majesty, rest assured. This humble subject will handle this matter well." Dong Changqing bowed when he heard this.

"Mmm, in that case, I won't worry. As long as my beloved one has done these things, I'm sure that the Southern Barbaric Nether Domain will surely return with a great victory. At that time, my beloved one will receive the first merit." Ye Tian laughed.

"This humble subject dares not. This humble subject shall first wish His Majesty a successful return." Dong Changqing bowed.

"Alright, it's alright now. You can go back and rest." Ye Tian waved his hand.

After Dong Zhangqing had left, Ye Tian sighed and said to himself, "Sigh, I feel that everything in the Changlong Empire is so unfamiliar. What is going on here? Did I really lose my memory?" "Forget it, let's see if I can recall something on this trip to the Southern Barbaric Nether Domain."

Three days later, outside the imperial city, the military parade began. According to the customs of the Chang Long Empire, every time a war broke out, the commander in chief would announce the order loudly in front of the army formation, informing them about the start of the battle and who to fight against and so on, giving the soldiers a sense of who to fight. The commander this time was Ye Tian, but since he was the emperor, he would naturally not personally read the order.

Fortunately, I have established a name for myself as the great Emperor of Heaven Splitting Heaven, a divine scripture saint martial artist summoned by the heavens, and with the authority of the heavens, I have decided to use the body of a myriad of gold to lead the army and pacify the chaos of the South Barbarians. The generals should work hard to kill the enemies, and use my glory as a means of repayment for the grace of the heavens and earth.

When the three armies heard this, they all shouted the halberds in their hands, "Long live the old man!"

Ye Tian slightly nodded at Zhang Tianlei upon seeing this. Upon seeing this, Zhang Tianlei signaled for the three armies to quiet down before announcing, "This time, His Majesty is personally leading the charge. We will be the vanguard and the generals will have to advance bravely.

Following which, the three armies advanced towards the Southern Barbaric Nether Domain in an orderly manner. Ye Tian took advantage of the carriage to look at the orderly formation of the three armies. Ye Tian praised, "You truly deserve to be called the Thunderstorm General. Even though you are almost old, you still have the ability to rule the army well. You are not as brave as you were!"
