C22 Wait For Me Sweety
Just as choice left the place and Emerald headed for the jungle present in the outskirts of the city, the girl who had gained her powers on the previous night was now again sitting beside the magical pond.
She was getting mesmerized by all the things and the blurry memories of her turning into another creature were making her restless.
She wanted the answers to her questions right then and there. But who was going to answer it?
She remembered the man who was standing beside her room door calmly and was puffing his cigar nonchalantly and remembered the words that he had told her saying that she was a mermaid.
Yes, he must have seen something. He knew something. She thought to ask him all the things as at this time he was the last resort for her queries.
Gazing deep into the pond, she could see the swimming fish and other small organisms which were looking happy and chit-chatting with each other. Although she was continuously denying the fact that she can see all these, yet she was also convincing herself to look and understand more.
In another split second, she landed into the pond just to find out if she really is a mermaid and would turn again into one if she landed in the water. She was swimming slowly and softly inside the stagnant magical water. Her powers were not steady for the given time and to add more, she had stepped into the pond for the second time. It was making her powers go crazy, and she was able to feel all the abrupt changes inside herself.
When she thought that there was nothing like her turning into a mermaid and found that she was swimming … she was just about to get out of the pond to charge at the man who had joked about her some time ago. …. Just then, she felt her bones cracking.
No, this was the same feeling and sensation that she had felt last night. Slowly the fishtail grew more and more making her turn into a mermaid properly at that very instance, and she gasped.
All the blurry memories of the past night had become crystal clear in her head and there was only one thing that she wanted to do right now, and it was ….
…. Shouting …. Shouting and shouting to calm herself.
~FAR AWAY FROM HUMAN AND WEREWOLF WORLD~
A man was sitting over his rocking chair swinging it slowly with a glass of red wine in his left hand while his right hand was holding a magical pearl-like stone. He was gazing into it deeply as if he would suck out the last particle of the stone.
His figure looked robust in those dim and dark lights which were making it difficult to know what he exactly looked like but the aura his body was emitting was deadly. It was like calmness before the Storm.
An assistant came there running and reported him fast while lowering his head stuttering……
"Ma. Master, we have found that a human girl had transformed into a mermaid the previous night.”
Listening to the words, a faint and crook smile appeared over his thin sexy lips which didn’t go unnoticed by the assistant, and he could wish for the dear God to save his life from that man who could get raged.
Not giving the Assistant any time to speak further, he sutured his lips and said …
"Was it a dream or a reality…?” and gazed into the downcast face of the assistant.
The assistant was afraid of his master as he was sure that after finding anything non-convincing, his master wouldn’t hesitate a bit to suck out his soul and leave his dead body hanging over the frontal gate of the castle for the clan members to watch.
He was thinking about how to save his life when the man cleared his throat and this brought the afraid assistant out of the thought land. He stuttered and spoke like a whisper…
"It … It … It was a … d … d… Dream master. Our chief dream catchers have caught it. Also … We… We… Have sent people already to co… Confirm it today.”
The man became overwhelmed suddenly and offered a glass of red wine to the poor, meek assistant which made the assistant even more afraid, and he just took the glass with shaking hands.
With a gaze from his master, he gulped the whole contents of the glass in one go and hanging his head low in case his upcast eyes would rage his master. The man was in a good mood suddenly and took out a piece of gold biscuit from his sideways drawer and had thrown it towards the assistant saying.
“ Go… Have fun today.”
The assistant had a sigh of relief with a grinning face and left after bowing his head respectfully.
The man whilst said gulping the last leftover sip of his wine …
"Wait for me, sweetie. We will see each other soon.”
Here Emerald was rushing and stepping on the gas fast to reach the destination given by Choice so that he can see Scarlet and find out the answers to his questions which were reverberating in his mind and buzzing since he had met the girl.
Although he could use his wolf speed to reach there, because it was the time of broad daylight and be been amidst humans and that too in an area where no werewolves used to reside, so he had to use the car.
With the signboard bearing the letters
“ WELCOME TO RIVERSTONE”
His sprinting heartbeat was just coming back to normal as it was the town of which Choice had been telling him.
The man specked the jungle beside the road and suddenly applied brakes causing the majestic car to halt in its track giving off screeching sounds. He thought about his conversation with his father which took place earlier that morning and again scanned the surrounding.
‘ Isn’t it the same location which dad was talking about.? ‘ This thought came into his mind. To make sure that his thoughts were correct, he took out the cell phone from his pocket and dialed his father.
“ Hello dad, I wanted to ask about the location that you wanted me to go to in the morning.!” Spoke Emerald rushing.
This didn’t go disregarded by his father and he inquired about him being dismissing the meeting amidst being worried…
“ Emmy … First you tell me where are you? And why did you dismiss the meeting in the middle? Why are you rushing so much ?”
“ Dad …!!” Emerald sighed and spoke just one word. Whenever he used to call him like this, the king understood that something is there of which Emmy would tell him later. Hence, he didn’t ponder this for longer times and told him the location saying…
"I told you to seal the heavenly pond of magical powers, and it is in a jungle amidst the human colonies in a small town called RIVERSTONE.”
As the words RIVERSTONE came out of his lips, Emmy went even more suspicious because, it was the same location that his father told him to inspect, and the fairy Choice told him to visit to find Scarlet.
Wandering in his thoughts, he stepped out of the car and headed towards the jungle hoping to find the answers.
~RIVERSTONE JUNGLE~
The girl who was sitting beside the pond had already stepped into the water and had regained her mermaid form, but this time she wasn’t dazzled or getting unconscious, but she was in all her consciousness and thus could sense everything going on with her.
She knew in her heart that the cigar-puffing man wasn’t lying to her, but still, she wanted herself to check the truth.
While Luke was already out of the hut and was looking for the girl, he heard faint sounds of water splashing. It took him no time to recognize who was the person making these sounds.
He sighed his head helplessly and thought that the Grand Empress had made him stuck with this girl who had no idea what was happening and without being aware of the powers and powers boosting properties of the heavenly pond, she had stepped into it again.
He hurried in his paces and found the girl swimming softly in the water. Stepping closer to her, Luke spoke, still being nonchalant…
"So girl, now you believe me !”
“Yes… I do. But … but why me? What is this all about and why only me !?”
“Well, I will answer everything once you step out of the water. “ Said, Luke.
But scarlet was scarlet, and she spits out some nonsense words still being in the water …
“But I am a mermaid now, that means a fish and if I step out of the water, I would surely die. How do you suppose me to come out …! Ha? Do you want me dead ?”
Luke pursed his lips tightly, and before he could answer her question, she said again making him sigh disbelievingly…
"Wait … could it be that now I have to live in water always …? No … Noo…. This can’t happen. I can’t step out …”

Choice was laughing aloud looking at Scarlet and hearing her blabbering while Destiny was emitting flares from her nose looking at this younger stunt maker.
