C42 Weird heart

Yue Jinnan glanced at his right hand with an indifferent expression. The wound was very deep and even some of his bones were exposed. However, for some reason, he did not feel any pain in his hand.

Yue Jinnan pursed his lips and stared at his injured right hand without saying a word.

Seeing that the temperature of Yue Jinnan's body was growing colder and colder, the doctor thought that Yue Jinnan was worried that his right hand was actually crippled, and immediately added: "President Yue, as long as you continue to recuperate, everything will be fine."

With that, he quickly helped Yue Jinnan bandage his wound.

Yue Jinnan regained his senses, he did not know that in the short period of time that he had spent running, the doctor had already thought up of a major drama, and nodded his head indifferently: "I got it, sorry to trouble you so late, Doctor Liu, to come all the way here."

Doctor Liu did not dare to accept Yue Jinnan's thanks, and anxiously replied: "President Yue is serious, I will change your wound tomorrow. For the next few days, do not touch the water with your right hand, work, in case it affects the healing process."

Yue Jinnan nodded, indicating that he understood.

"Send Doctor Liu out." He pointed to the servant closest to him.

The servant answered in a crisp voice as he helped Doctor Liu pack up the medicine chest and sent him out. When the servant returned, there was no one left in the spacious living room. Only the light that was still there told her that everything that had happened was real and not an illusion.

Standing alone in the large living room, the maid let out a sigh. What the hell was this? She was just an ordinary worker, but why was it that the Yue family couldn't be at ease these days?

After tossing and turning in a circle, it was already 4 o'clock in the morning. Although the sky was still dark outside, it seemed to be getting brighter.

Yue Jinnan did not go to Song Huai Shuang's room and directly went to his own bedroom. On the second floor, there was a master bedroom, which was Yue Jinnan's room.

Yue Jinnan rarely stayed overnight in this villa. The few times he did so was when he stayed in Song Huai Shuang's room, while his own master bedroom was empty.

Even so, the servants here knew clearly about Yue Jinnan's temperament, so they did not dare to be lazy. They decorated the simple and elegant room, and the big bed and pillow were all clean so they could directly fall asleep.

Compared to being comfortable, the master bedroom was much more comfortable than Song Huai Shuang's room. However, as Yue Jinnan laid on the bed, he could not fall asleep at all.

Yue Jinnan woke up early, the servants did not dare to sleep late.

At five o'clock in the morning, the sky outside was barely getting brighter. A hardworking servant got up early and dressed up, starting his day's work. In the large villa, the silence was filled with the liveliness of anger.

Yue Jinnan's right hand was wrapped tightly and was unable to move. After he painstakingly washed up, he had already spent twice as much time as usual.

When Yue Jinnan went downstairs, a servant who was familiar with his daily habits was preparing breakfast. Whenhe saw Yue Jinnan coming down, she hurriedly said: "Sir, breakfast will be ready in a few minutes."

What happened last night was still fresh in his mind, so Yue Jinnan did not have much appetite. He frowned and said: "There's no need to prepare, I'm going to the company."

After pausing for a moment, Yue Jinnan continued, "There's no need to prepare anything upstairs, there's no need to worry about her today."

The servant was stunned for a moment before asking again in surprise, "Sir, madam is still pregnant, do you really not need to prepare food?"

It was always in the past, how Song Huaishuang angered Yue Jinnan and punished him in such a way. Yue Jinnan had never punished his in terms of food or drink, and sometimes, he even forced his to eat something.

Yet today, she suddenly mentioned that she would not give Song Huaishuang anything to eat or drink. It was no wonder why the servant did not believe her.

A mere servant dared to question his words, Yue Jinnan's smelly face immediately became even colder.

He snappily replied, "If you're deaf, I don't mind paying for the medicine."

The servant lowered his head in embarrassment. He knew that he had hit the nail on the head and did not dare to say another word. He felt both sympathy and admiration for Song Huaishuang who was upstairs.

To dare to touch the tiger's head, he must have a lot of guts. No wonder Yue Jinnan was so angry, he used this method to punish her.

Yue Jinnan walked out with a sullen face, the pressure on him was extremely low, the driver carefully followed behind him, not daring to even breathe.

As expected, he was too used to Song Huaishuang. Even a servant doubted his decision, so Song Huaishuang still had the guts to scratch him! It was time for her to suffer a bit more and know the consequences of offending him.

Yue Jinnan was the focus of the company. Once he entered the company, the bandage on his right hand immediately attracted the attention of all the employees within the company.

Their CEO had always been extraordinarily handsome and dressed in a cold and aloof manner. Why was his right hand wrapped in gauze when he came to work today? It looked as if he was injured.

If he was really injured, and who had the guts to actually hurt President Yue, it would be even harder to find than for the sun to rise from the west.

Yue Jinnan did not know, but in just a short period of time, the wound on his right hand had already become the newest topic among the employees of the company.

He walked into his office with a straight face. There was already a small stack of documents on his wide desk, and he left the company early yesterday, leaving a small portion of them behind.

As usual, Yue Jinnan opened his documents as he dialled the internal number, telling his secretary to get him a cup of coffee.

Yue Jinnan struggled to use his left hand to manage his duties, but he had never used his left hand to write or change documents. Suddenly, his right hand changed from his usual use to his left hand.

When the secretary returned with the thick coffee that he brewed, he also brought a few documents that he had to deal with. The documents that were spread out on Yue Jinnan's table were only able to handle two parts of it, and compared to his previous speed, they were more than two times slower.

With such a progress, it was obvious that Yue Jinnan, who had always been strict with himself, was not satisfied with the work he did. When the secretary came in, Yue Jinnan's face was so dark that he could not see anyone.

"President, here's your coffee." The secretary carefully put down the coffee and listed the new documents that he needed to process on another stack of documents. From the corner of his eyes, he did not forget to take a peek at Yue Jinnan's injured right hand.

When he came to the company in the morning, he had heard that President Yue's hand was injured, but he never expected it to be this serious.
