C17 Bitter
"Enter." Chu Cheng said without raising his head as he sat behind his desk and flipped through the documents in his hands.
"Master Yong Master Chu , the coffee is ready." The door opened and Soong Siwo walked in with a smile while holding a cup of steaming hot coffee.
"Put it down. You can leave now." Chu Cheng's face was cold and expressionless. He didn't even look at Soong Siwo.
Me! Soong Siwo held back the throbbing veins on her forehead and allowed herself to steadily place the coffee on the table. After that, he didn't even bother to say a word to Chu Cheng, put it down, turned around and left.
Although Soong Siwo didn't have the habit of being a spoiled young miss, she wasn't a maid to serve others!
Soong Siwo was annoyed by Chu Cheng's arrogant attitude of being aloof and disdainful towards everyone.
Chu Cheng raised his eyes slightly and glanced at Soong Siwo's obviously angry back. He then raised his hand and picked up the cup of coffee.
"Wait a moment." Chu Cheng's cold and arrogant voice sounded behind Soong Siwo.
"Master Yong Master Chu , what else do you want?" Soong Siwo stopped and turned around with a smile.
"This is your coffee?" Chu Cheng raised his sharp eyebrows as he held the coffee in his hand.
"Yeah, what's wrong?" Soong Siwo nodded and asked with a puzzled expression.
"I'm fine." Chu Cheng looked at Soong Siwo for two seconds and said coldly. He put down his coffee and continued to work expressionlessly.
Nutjob... Soong Siwo cursed silently in her heart before she turned around and walked away.
After leaving the study, Soong Siwo looked at the spacious but empty room, unsure of what she should do next.
After walking aimlessly around the room, Soong Siwo suddenly remembered that there was a row of bookshelves in the conference room. She could easily find a few books to read.
"Alright, I finally have something to do."
Soong Siwo's face lit up. She walked quickly to the meeting room, picked out a few books she could barely manage to read, and leisurely sat down on the big sofa in the living room.
Actually, there was a rattan chair on the balcony. Soong Siwo would be in a better mood if she could sit there and read. Unfortunately, Chu Cheng said to try not to stay on the balcony. Soong Siwo also didn't want to get into trouble for him, so he naturally stayed in the living room to watch the show.
"What kind of books are these?" Soong Siwo watched for half an hour before she started yawning.
The conference room was filled with books on economics and finance. Soong Siwo could not bear to watch any longer. If only she could read a medical book, then she would definitely be able to sit here and read for the entire day in high spirits!
After persevering for another 20 minutes, Soong Siwo's eyelids were about to close in boredom. Ye Zichen looked up at the study, but Chu Cheng didn't move at all.
He did not know when he would be able to finish looking through the pile of documents. Soong Siwo put down her book and stretched her back.
There was still a lot of coffee left in the coffee machine, so Soong Siwo decided to heat it up and drink some more.
A rich aroma wafted out from the coffee machine. Soong Siwo took a few sniffs and a satisfied smile appeared on her face. It seems that making coffee is quite simple.
Soong Siwo poured herself a cup of hot coffee, full of anticipation, and prepared to taste her craft.
"So bitter!" The moment Soong Siwo drank the coffee, her small face scrunched up into a frown. She raised her head and saw that there was a trash can by her feet. She hastily spat out all the coffee.
"Why is it so tough?" Soong Siwo held the black cup of coffee in her hand and thought back to when she put the coffee powder in it.
"He seems to have put it too far …" Soong Siwo put the coffee on the table far away with an awkward expression on her delicate face.
Then Soong Siwo thought of Chu Cheng, no wonder Chu Cheng stopped her, the coffee was so bitter.
Well, Soong Siwo looked at the black coffee and suddenly didn't know what to say.
"What are you doing?" Soong Siwo's cold, arrogant, emotionless voice rang out from behind her again, frightening her so much that her heart skipped a beat once again.
"Why aren't you making any sounds when you're walking!" Soong Siwo held her chest and glared at Chu Cheng.
"You were too distracted." Chu Cheng glanced at the coffee machine coldly and said.
He didn't even notice the sound of his door opening or his footsteps walking.
"Have you finished reading your documents?" Soong Siwo shifted her body to block the coffee machine behind her and said with a smile.
"It's dinner time now." Chu Cheng's handsome face, which only existed in ancient Greek mythology, was filled with indifference and arrogance.
"Oh, oh." Soong Siwo felt slightly guilty because of the coffee issue, so she was abnormally obedient to Chu Cheng's arrogant attitude.
"Do you want to stay here or go out?" Chu Cheng asked expressionlessly as he inserted one hand into the sharp pocket of his pants.
"I'll go with you." Soong Siwo said without hesitation.
She didn't want to leave her here alone.
Chu Cheng turned around and walked away without saying anything. Soong Siwo hurriedly followed him.
As she followed Chu Cheng out of the room, Soong Siwo saw Zhong Hui waiting outside the door.
"Young Master." Zhong Hui respectfully greeted Chu Cheng, then turned to Soong Siwo and smiled: "Miss Soong, this was retrieved from the Spain Hotel, your luggage."
Zhong Hui pulled out a large box from behind him and handed it to Soong Siwo with a polite smile.
"My luggage!" Soong Siwo was overjoyed.
"Thank you so much, Mr. Zhong." Soong Siwo raised her head and said with heartfelt gratitude.
"Miss Soong is too polite, young master told me to do this, so if you want to thank me, then thank young master." Zhong Hui grinned and said to Chu Cheng, who had a cold and arrogant expression on his face.
Chu Cheng? Soong Siwo turned around and glanced at Chu Cheng, but Chu Cheng didn't even glance at him.
Forget it, Soong Siwo was too lazy to thank him.
"And this," Zhong Hui took out a cell phone from his suit pocket and handed it to Soong Siwo again, "The young master said that you need a cell phone. There's already a phone card in it, so Miss Soong can use it whenever she wants."
Soong Siwo took the phone. This was a real surprise to her.
"Let me help you put your luggage back in your room." Zhong Hui said with a meaningful look.
"Then I'll be troubling Mr. Zhong." A gentle and grateful smile appeared on Soong Siwo's face. She looked exceptionally docile and beautiful.
Zhong Hui quickly said that he didn't need any trouble. He carried Soong Siwo's big suitcase with one hand easily and sent it into the room.
"Um …" "Thank you." Soong Siwo held the phone in her hand as her gaze wandered, not daring to look at Chu Cheng's cold and arrogant expression.
"Thank me for what?" This young master didn't hear it clearly. " Chu Cheng's cold and arrogant tone was still as arrogant as before.
"Thank you for getting Zhong Hui to bring me back my luggage and buying me a cell phone." Soong Siwo raised her head and said loudly to Chu Cheng's black eyes.
Chu Cheng nodded faintly and accepted Soong Siwo's thanks proudly.
"The phone was given to you by this young master. Just remember to pay back the money you owe this young master in time." Chu Cheng walked into the elevator and reminded Soong Siwo with a cold tone.
