"What are you doing here?" I asked Hera, my tone firm.

Why is she here?! She better not be causing trouble!

"Hi, My name is Yoreh Selene. I'm Cyrus's fiancée," Selene introduced herself before extending her hand.

"Hera, Cyrus's Ex-girlfriend,"

I closed my eyes at her response.

Yeah, She's my ex-girlfriend but I didn't take it seriously because she was the same.

"I'm pregnant," Hera announced.

Her words caught my breath and slowed my heartbeat. It was only a few months after we broke up and I couldn't forget that one time I was drunk and woke up by her side. I glanced at her briefly. She raised an eyebrow, and I swallowed nervously.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

She nodded.

How about Selene! I turned to my side.

Fuck! Where is she?!

"I said I'm pregnant, but I didn't say you're the father. Go chase after your fiancée! Damn it!" Hera shouted.

I clenched my fists, why is she only saying this now?! I was angry as I turned away. I ran until I reached the gate. I couldn't see Selene anywhere. I wanted to go back inside and yell at Hera, but since I couldn't find Selene, I panicked and hurried into my car.

The only place she could go is my unit because she left her phone and other belongings there. All I needed to do was hurry because if she caught me again, she might really leave me this time, and I wouldn't be able to handle it.

"Where do you think you're going?" I asked Selene, my voice firm.

Tears filled her face as I opened the door. She wiped her face with her palm, biting her lip before avoiding eye contact with me.

"Baby, Don't go," I said softly.

She shook her head, each shake feeling like a slap in the face. I took a step towards her, but she stepped back. I heard her whimper, so I quickly looked away. I bit my lip and exhaled, returning my gaze to her, my head down.

I took a few steps closer and held her by the arms.

"L-let go of me, Cyrus. We can't be together anymore, you've impregnated another woman! It's not allowed! We can't!" she said, her voice breaking.

"Baby, Look at me," I pleaded. She shook her head. "Baby, I said look at me and listen," I said.

I kept bowing my head because she seemed to be getting weaker.

"Selene," I called.

She bit her lower lip and looked at me. "I'm not the father of her child. Maybe one of my cousins, that's why she's at the reunion and I was able to introduce her to our relatives," I explained.

I saw the surprise in her eyes.

"Really?" she asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, Baby. She was just messing with me. Probably my cousin asked her to come,"

She hugged me tightly. It was a tight hug as if she was afraid I would disappear from her life. I returned the hug, kissing her head lightly.

We stayed in that position.

"Stay here for now," I said, taking her purse from her. "Are you really going to leave the bag I gave you?" I turned to her. "It's a good thing you didn't take off that ring,"

I walked into the bedroom, placing her belongings on the side table. I looked at her seriously, and she followed me. She brushed her lips slightly before smiling at me. She bowed her head, squeezing her hands, so I held her chin up, looking into her eyes.

I swallowed hard as I looked at her red lips. I quickly averted my gaze, so did she.

"Do you have any other exes besides Akia and me? Does that Hera of yours have others?" She asked.

My brows furrowed, and I shook my head. "The hell, Baby, I don't remember because I didn't take them seriously,"

I didn't want to tell her because I knew she would get annoyed with me, and it wasn't important anyway!

She rolled her eyes. "Maybe you're just saying you didn't take them seriously because you know I'll ask you about them,"

What is she talking about? Can't I just not want to talk about it so she won't get annoyed? I smirked and shook my head.

"Baby, I don't even remember anymore," I said, holding her hand.

I really couldn't remember, I just remembered the names, but I didn't know where we met. In the years that passed, I didn't love any other woman the way I loved her.

She glared at me. "If you don't remember, why do you remember Hera? Did you consider her different from your other exes that's why she's the only one you remember?"

I massaged my temples, She's my damn world isn't it clear to her?

I sighed. "Because she's not different since she's also a friend of Kryna, my cousin. So, I know her, please. Let's not argue about Hera, let's not talk about her," I pouted.

"Who else were friends with your cousins besides Akia and me? Did you really miss them because your parents were strict with your past suitors?" I asked.

She seemed to enjoy teasing me, Even though her eyebrows were already furrowed, her cheeks were red with anger.

"Probably not!" she answered irritably.

I chuckled. "Why does the tone of your speech seem so helpless? Did you miss them? " I teased.

She pinched my biceps, I didn't know why, but it seemed like she missed pinching my arms!

"You're so annoying! You've been acting like a fool since earlier!" She scornfully said.

I laughed. "Just kidding, I know I'm the one you missed,"

I bit my lower lip, why do I feel so giddy like an idiot!

She slightly pinched my waist, trying to avoid my gaze. "What are you missing about? Are you going crazy? Stop bothering me with questions," she complained.

I slid my finger through my hair and licked my lower lip. I couldn't think straight because of her serious frown towards me.

I sighed. "Shyrene, Shayna, Roxylene, Caye, and Aeinna," I scratched my head.

She faked a laugh before giving me a deadly glare.

"Wow, really! Amazing!" she clapped sarcastically. "So many! Shyrene, Shayna, Roxylene, Caye, Aeinna plus Hera! Just wow!" She said sarcastically while clapping her hands. "Why don't you just go back to them?" she said mockingly.

I was alarmed by what she said.

"No! No fucking hell, Baby." I shook my head. "What do you mean go back to them? You're the only woman I would choose to come back to, Selene," I pleaded.

"Maybe that's why when we first met, you clearly wanted to go back to Akia, right?" she sarcastically asked.

I slapped myself. Akia is still being brought up until now is she still jealous of that?!

"Why are you getting angry? Why are you shouting?" She hysterically acted like a child throwing a tantrum.

I took a step closer to her. "I'm not mad," I said softly, stroking her cheek.

She just rolled her eyes, causing me to grin. Even her eye roll made my heart beat faster.

"How about your Shown, Glen, Neil also the man who is almost in your home who lives, his name is Sky. Am I right, Baby?"

She immediately avoided eye contact "They were just courting me!" she said.

"When I courted you, I didn't stay in your apartment so many times."

"He just sleeps on the sofa! And my parents have become strict, so those other guys who courted me didn't last! Sky is the only exception because he's the son of the owner of the University I'm attending. And Sky's nice so my parents allowed him a bit but he's already in Canada he just left last month!"

I chuckled. "Perfect indeed, huh?"
