After Lionel and Shmue had left for my room, I was at a loss for what to say to get us to talk and break the awkward stillness that surrounded us.

"Ahm sir, When will I be discharged?" I asked Dum.

"Next week," Dum answered.

What week is my discharge next? My hospital stay is taking forever! That can't be because I wanted to be discharged right away
