C331 Call

The seaside was filled with tourists, children playing by the seaside, and women holding shawls in all sorts of poses. They were laughing, talking loudly, talking, and the sound of a yacht in the distance was mixed in.

When Zhu Zhu looked back through the noise, she saw Chiang Lee. She didn't know where he was looking, nor did she know what he was thinking.

Zhu Zhu yelled at Chiang Lee while holding her loudspeaker shape, but he didn't turn around. He felt a wave of sadness surge into his heart.

Zhu Zhu walked into the sea. Step by step, Hai Shui tirelessly stroked her legs. When she looked back at Chiang Lee, she suddenly didn't want to say anything.

The foggy sea, the noisy crowd, the entire sea was like a slow floating dementor smiling. The rain was his blessing, blessing everyone who lived in the cold, happiness.

Zhu Zhu hated the cold. She hated everything that had to do with the cold.

She saw the other one walk to Chiang Lee's side and gently hug him.

Chiang Lee raised his eyes and looked at her, then said softly, "Go, I don't need you."

The waves blew Chiang Lee's hair into a mess, like an English rock singer. In the dizziness of the sea, the lights went on and off.

It was like a bubble in water. With a gentle blow, it floated away.

She walked step by step like Chiang Lee, her gaze gloomy like the endless waves of the sea, and her voice was the heavy breathing of the tide.

The lights in the operating room were still on.

Half of Chi Shaojun's face was covered in a red glow, while the other half was lit up by the light.

Ye Yuni couldn't stand this oppressive atmosphere that was crushing her spine bit by bit as she walked towards another section of the corridor.

Deng Yujin was waiting for Ye Yuni. She walked over and he held her in his arms.

Every syllable of the voice was filled with rain. "It's okay, Qianxi. She'll be fine."

Chi Shaojun didn't know what to do. He got his assistant Kevin to make a cup of coffee and carried the cup himself. Should he put in the saccharine or the milk?

Outside the window, it was still drizzling. Thick raindrops fell on the transparent window and then quickly fell down. Chi Shaojun raised his head and looked at the rain outside the window. The clouds were all in his eyes.

Ye Yuni held a cup of brewed coffee and walked to Chi Shaojun's side. She respectfully handed it to him and said something that even surprised her, "Do you feel like you're drowning and suffocating?"

Chi Shaojun raised his head and rubbed his red eyes.

"If this 15% success rate doesn't work, and this is a very normal high probability event, then you'll feel like you're really suffocating."

After saying that, Ye Yuni stepped on her exquisite high heels and left, leaving Chi Shaojun standing there in a daze.

Walking out of the door, Ye Yuni paused for a second before she stabbed Chi Shaojun again, "This time, Qianxi did the surgery for you, you know that right?"

Ye Yuni walked through the long corridor and through the light. Deng Yujin came back from the outside and sat down. He took out an expensive sandwich from his bag.

"Eat some."

Ye Yuni nodded, her eyes slightly red.

Deng Yujin understood Ye Yuni's personality. Even when they had the most intense argument, they never saw Ye Yuni sitting here without saying a word.

"I know you and Qianxi have the best relationship. I also believe that she'll be able to get through this time."

A few months ago, Ye Yuni had fallen into the lake because of her father's death in this hospital.

The coldness that had soaked his heart and spread to his skin finally made him feel better. The pain was like ants crawling on his body again.

Ann Qianxi and Ye Yuni were two different people. Ye Yuni felt Ann Qianxi was like a huge world with a floating soul. It felt like everything had a path to follow, but she couldn't find the source nor the direction.

When she was very young, she remembered playing by the sea with an older sister. She stood on a high balcony and looked down. She felt a kind of ringing in her ears, a sort of psychedelic dizziness.

Ye Yuni had the same feeling when she saw Ann Qianxi. She felt as if she was easy to approach and difficult to interact with. She was also very nice and contradictory.

Ann Qianxi had come out of the operating room on this rainy afternoon. The lights outside the operating room flickered, and the nurse was pushing the bed. Ann Qianxi was lying on it with big tubes and IV bottles stuck into her body.

Ye Yuni rushed to the front and held the doctor's hand in a hurry. Chi Jijun also followed. On the surface, he seemed very calm. When he passed by the nurse, he whispered to the doctor and even smiled appropriately.

Ye Yuni couldn't tell from Chi Shaojun's expression whether he was happy or worried, concerned or indifferent.

Ye Yuni, who often hung out in the business world with her computer, felt that she was extremely angry. Compared to Chi Shaojun, she was like a kitten showing her sharp claws in front of a lion.

The doctor said Ann Qianxi is not yet officially out of danger, but depends on the patient's recovery.

Chi Shaojun took a whole week of leave. What he did a lot these days was deliver a bunch of lilies to Ann Qianxi's sickroom everyday, bring her a lot of delicious food, and place different types of books in front of her bedside every day — — When she wakes up, Chi Shaojun will read them to her one by one.

Chi Shaojun would silently shed a lot of tears in the dark night while sitting on Ann Qianxi's bed. Those tears slowly slid down his face. For many years, he hadn't shed a single tear. This feeling seemed to be very far from him.

That afternoon, Chi Shaojun's hand slowly passed through Ann Qianxi's hair. He could smell a faint fragrance in her hair. There was a faint smell of disinfectant on her clothes. There was also the smell of blood and the marks left by the scalpel.

Until Ann Qianxi woke up, Chi Shaojun didn't know and just sat there in a daze. Her hand was slowly placed on his. When their fingertips touched, she could feel his fingers weakly holding hers.

Although the smell that covered Chi Shaojun's body was very weak, he could already clearly feel that it would become more and more intense. Finally, this kind of warmth would become a kind of huge halo that enveloped them.
