C12 [then You Can Keep on Using Them.]

"Hmm?"

Su Yun glanced upward.

There, striding down the corridor, was a young man dressed in fine silks, flanked by several attendants. He wore a smirk as he gazed at Su Yun.

"The Yun family's son-in-law? Is he the one?"

"He doesn't look so special. I was expecting someone... extraordinary."

"Extraordinary? Would an extraordinary man end up as a son-in-law in the Yun family?"

...

The young man's voice was intentionally loud, drawing the attention of onlookers who began to whisper and point at Su Yun.

Su Yun met the gaze of the young man with a slight frown.

This was Lin Hee, the second young master of the Lin family, a prominent cultivating clan in Yunhe City.

Although Su Yun had only been in Yunhe City for a year, he had encountered Lin Hee several times, and none of those meetings had been pleasant.

The Yun and Lin families were old rivals, locked in a bitter feud over city resources for generations, resulting in severe losses on both sides. Encounters between the two families were never friendly.

As the Yun family's son-in-law, Su Yun was inevitably treated as one of their own.

Uninterested in a confrontation, Su Yun attempted to walk away.

But Lin Hee had other plans. A muscular servant blocked Su Yun's path.

Lin Hee sneered, "What's the rush, esteemed Su Yun?"

Su Yun, unfazed, coldly told the servant, "Move aside."

"Move?"

The servant, emboldened by a glance from Lin Hee, scoffed, "Make me!"

He then shoved his brawny arm forward, colliding with Su Yun.

Su Yun staggered, his cloth bag of materials tumbling to the ground.

As he bent to retrieve it, a foot stamped down on the bag first.

He looked up.

"Want to pick it up?"

Lin Hee, standing on the bag, taunted, "Crawl through here, and I might just let you have it."

He gestured crudely to his spread legs.

The crowd erupted in laughter. "Come on, crawl under Young Master Lin's legs!"

"Hurry up and get moving! You're nothing but the Yun family's worthless son-in-law!"

The nearby servants burst into laughter at the sight.

"You seem to have a penchant for spreading your legs..."

Su Yun glanced at Lin Hee's crotch and spoke with a cool detachment, "Well then, keep them spread!"

Whoosh!

As his words trailed off, the lightning at his feet surged dramatically.

The crowd was still processing what happened when a bolt of yellow lightning detonated between Lin Hee's legs.

A crisp 'snap' echoed through the arena.

"Ahh!"

Lin Hee was catapulted into the air and crashed down heavily in front of a crystal counter several meters away, clutching his blood-soaked groin as he unleashed a piercing scream that echoed through the hall.

"Young... Young Master He!"

The burly servants snapped to attention, their faces pale with shock as they hurried over.

Su Yun paid them no mind, dusting off the cloth bag and reattaching it to his waist before he strode out of the Cloud Vast Treasure Pavilion.

"Kill him! Someone kill him for me!"

Lin Hee's agonized screams followed Su Yun's departure, his voice a hysterical blend of pain and rage.

"You think you can just walk away?!"

The servants sprang into action, charging at him.

The burly servant who had blocked their path earlier launched a punch without hesitation.

Su Yun deftly sidestepped, and his fist, already crackling with gathered yellow lightning, thundered out.

Bang! The punch hit the servant squarely in the stomach, sending the towering figure flying.

The other servants converged on him.

Yellow lightning danced around Su Yun, and with the strength of the Thunder God Holy Body, he unleashed a sweeping kick that sent the servants sprawling.

"Ask them for the damages!"

Su Yun glanced at the shattered crystal cabinets and casually addressed the Treasure Pavilion staff among the onlookers. Then, he made his exit.

He left behind a crowd with mouths agape and faces etched with astonishment.

"My... My God!!"

It took a moment for someone to find their voice, and a shocked exclamation filled the air.

The onlookers came to their senses, staring at the retreating figure who had already left the pavilion, their faces a mix of awe and disbelief.

In Yunhe City, Lin Hee was notorious as a spoiled and arrogant young master, known for his domineering ways. He had the means to back it up; not only was he a cultivator at the advanced Soul Condensing Stage, but his entourage of servants were also at the same level of cultivation.

Even the most accomplished cultivators at the peak of the Soul Condensing Stage would struggle to contend with them. Yet, Su Yun dispatched them all with just a few swift moves...

"Gulp..."

Many onlookers couldn't help but swallow hard.

This Yun family's son-in-law was proving to be far more astonishing than anyone had anticipated!

"What a remarkable Yun family son-in-law!"

Among the crowd, the middle-aged man in brocade who had previously conducted business with Su Yun approached, a hint of a smile playing at the corner of his mouth as he watched Su Yun's retreating figure. "Quite interesting!"

"Manager, what should we do with them?"

A guard from the Cloud Vast Treasure Pavilion inquired.

The brocade-clad middle-aged man cast a glance at the unconscious Lin Hee and the other servants writhing in agony on the ground. He spoke with a detached tone, "After they've compensated for the pavilion's damages, just throw them out!"

With that, he turned and strode away.

The Lin family, being one of Yunhe City's prominent cultivating households, might be feared by other powers within the city, but that fear certainly didn't extend to the Cloud Vast Treasure Pavilion!

...

Thunder rumbled!

No sooner had Su Yun stepped out of the trading district than the sky, already overcast, grew heavy with dark clouds, and a light rain began to fall.

The streets, emptied in anticipation of the downpour, took on a deserted air.

Su Yun, seeing this, quickened his pace, hurrying home through the rain.

He sprinted down a street and onto a small path through a grove of trees.

This was the shortest route to the Yun family estate, a path Su Yun often traversed on his way to and from the trading district.

The path's muddy ground had grown damp with the rain, but it did nothing to slow Su Yun's progress.

"Be careful!"

As he darted onto the path, Hammer Spirit's voice rang out in his ear.

Su Yun's expression tensed.

But his foot, already in motion, came down.

Beneath his foot, a Talisman Register etched with intricate patterns burst into light.

Boom!

An instant later, a fearsome energy erupted from the ground.

Puff!

Despite his quick reflexes, the blast caught him, and Su Yun spat out a mouthful of blood.

"Release the arrows!"

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Before he had a chance to breathe, a chilling command cut through the air, accompanied by a volley of gleaming arrows that sliced through the rain from both sides.

Thud!

Su Yun's feet pounded the ground as he channeled his Soul Power, propelling himself into the air in a swift leap, narrowly evading the deadly barrage.

Whoosh!

Yet, in that very instant, a glint of cold steel flashed before his eyes.

Another arrow, timed to his ascent, whistled through the air towards him.

"Thunder!"

In that split second, Su Yun invoked the power of his Thunder God Holy Body, unleashing a brilliant surge of yellow lightning.

The arrow was shattered mid-flight by the raw force of the electric blast.

Electricity crackled around his form as he touched down.

"Attack!"

He barely had time to regain his footing when another icy command rang out.

Slash! Slash! Slash!

From the surrounding woods, a group of figures clad in black and masked emerged, brandishing their blades as they converged on him.
