It was only a week later that we finally began winter recess.

“There’s a hockey game tonight.” Noah said during lunch on Friday, the last day of school of 2014.

“Who are we playing with?”

“Portland.”

“When’s the game?”

“At seven. We can go out afterwards.”

“Okay.” I agreed. I had nothing better to do on a Friday night anyway
