C16 APART 3 (SOUL SEPARATION)

I chanted the spells as Reagan drew the soul separation bindings. There was so much tension in the air but we both refused to do any other thing much less think about it. We needed this separation and fast. The magic I placed on Aurora was fading away and I knew that if she woke up before we started the ritual, her vampire side wouldn't mode sending our souls beyond this world.

"Sentitemi o antichi, invucu u cerculu di separazione. Nisuna rilegatura o casting. Purtà a libertà, ma cundanna à l'anima. Concede stu cerculu, dammi ..!!!!". I chanted in the language of the ancients that I knew.

I felt my magic flow from me as two symbols were drawn in the room. A knife, and a skeleton. The knife represented the cut away of the soul and the skeleton represents the death of one's conscience. It pained me so much to see my own daughter going through all this just because us her patents, tried to do what was right. Putting an end to the evil witches.

As the bond was formed,I used my magic to hold it together and then Reagan carried Aurora into the circle. Carefully enough as to not to stir her.

Immediately Reagan left her in the circle, she opened her eyes, looked at the ground and looked wildly at me. "Noooo mother please no. I know you love me please, you can't do this to me". I felt a sharp pang of pain in me as I watched my daughter plead for her soul. But my rational part told me that it was just her vampire side talking. I took one good look at her and then said "If you're in there Aurora, I just wanna say that I'm so sorry for not telling you about all of this. I'm sorry for being a terrible mother and making you go through all this pain". I felt my own tears choke me as I spoke but I knew that this had to be done. I took one look at her and begun to chant "Ascoltatemi, o antichi, ligami di separazione, portate quest'anima chì hè in i vostri ligami. Dà a so libertà in cambiu di a so ànima. Ch'ella ùn cunnosca più i dolori di esse incatenati o rotti".

When I was done, I heard Aurora scream like it was her last and then it all stopped. She fainted and the bindings disappeared. Reagan carried her to the bed as I cleared up the room and went to sit besides her.

I was about to channel some life-force into her body when Reagan interrupted and said, "My love, we both know that after today, nothing is ever going to be the same. The sweet loving little daughter we had will be long gone and not even us, her own parents can help. Her only chances of survival lies with her mate and it's impossible for them to reunite till two human years have gone by". I looked at Reagan as he said all this things. I wasn't prepared for this and he knew it. I broke down sobbing.

Who will my Aurora become???
