C34 YOU MADE UP??

***Kayla POV ***

I looked at Mirabelle and saw a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. Uh oh, she was up to no good. I had to warn Her Highness about Mira's cunning character. She was a pain in the neck. Especially when it came to things she didn't want. Like exercising.

"Natashe, I must warn you though. You see, Mira is a very cunning and stubborn lady. She might decide to just make you stressed out or make your training hellish. I hope you can be really firm with her and not be deceived by this ball of cuteness"

"Don't worry yourself about me Kayla, I'm tougher than I look. Besides love it takes more than fluttering your lashes to convince me to do something. You'll have to be more impressive than that". Her Highness replied me with a smug look on her face.

"Waah you're both against me. Ion like you both anymore. Kayla is no longer my favourite". Mira complained with a pouty face.

"Favourite or not little lady, you have to train. It's a must for you. I can't have you getting all slow and heavy. Gaah it won't be pleasant. So adhere to the training she gives you"

I felt Mira's glare in me but I chuckled inside. It was worth it. She was a handful and needed to be handled properly she had a lot resting on her shoulders but she didn't know just yet.

***Natashe POV ***

We had dinner and a wonderful time at Kayla's place but soon it was time to leave. I had to take Mira home. it was getting late, besides I had a whole lot of on undone things with Martinez and a modelling contract for Mira to sign the next day. But today was really fruitful and eventful as well. I got to know much about mirabelle and also bond with the new seer. It would be of great help in the future.

I gave Kayla a meaningful glance and she understood immediately. She looked a bit sad but spoke up. " Oh my gosh it's so late. Look at the time. We've spend so much time we must have lost track of it. You know what Mira baby?? I'll see you tomorrow okay but for now you've got to go home it's getting late. How about Natashe drops you off??

"Huhh but Kayla I want to stay with you it's been years now since we last talked and I want to still talk to you about some things. I can see Natasha off she wouldn't mind right Natashe??"

Okay this was getting really awkward but I had to make sure that Mira left the house very soon. The old seer might come to see Kayla and she will get curious. Mira was not supposed find out about the supernatural from us. Not just yet. The prophecy can't be ruined now. There was too much at stake

"I agree with you sister Mira. I am so sorry but you have to rest you and you need to go home. You'll have a very busy day ahead of you and I'm sure Kayla understands and besides remember you have a contract to sign don't worry I'll bring Kayla to the company. She'll be with you and you can speak with her there but you will need to go home. Besides Kayla looks exhausted herself". It hurt me to lie to her and the disappointed look on her face was piercing.

"Please Mira. I don't want you to think I'm abandoning you but I really can't stay. I'm not going to be home tonight because I have night classes and soon as it's 12am I'm leaving for campus".

"Huhh?? Night classes?? Those are so risky Kayla why would you do that??"

"I have a future darling and my education plays a minor role in it. I can't just stop and the night classes are way more comfortable". Kayla replied Mirabelle's question without batting an eyelash. Damn she was good.

"Okay sis. But?? If you go for night classes, will you be able to come with me to the modelling company tomorrow?? You'll be tired.

" OH don't worry about that. We'll go to the company in the afternoon. Besides, there are a lot of places I haven't shown you in this city yet. Today was for you. Tomorrow is my day". I replied Mirabelle.

"Alright ladies looks like I'll see you tomorrow afternoon by??" Kayla asked

"1pm we'll be here. Get ready we don't wanna be late darling.

" Hehehe look at you two. When Natashe came, you looked like you were going to bite her head off but now she's calling you darling. I know sis, no need to tell me. I make the most amazing friends."

"That you do Mira". Kayla answered. Well time to move on or else this chit chat wouldn't stop.

Kayla stood up and held both our hands, dragging us to the door. "I'll see you tomorrow darlings. Byeee"

***Mira's POV ***

Aww it was so nice to see my sis and Natashe get along. Well I had a really fun day but, it was time to go home. I wanted to call a cab but Natashe pulled me into the car and said "your place".

Whew I'd do that gladly. I gave her the directions and she begun to drive. I felt so tired but happy about today's events. It was really nice to see my sis again. I mulled over everything that had happened and realized that fate had perhaps decided to be kind. I had a lovely day. Still thinking, I did not know when I dozed off.

***Natashe POV ***

I looked at Mira as she slept and chuckled. My daughter-in-law was so cute and peaceful. She even smiled in her sleep. It was a smile of someone who had peace. But then the thought of the prophecy crossed my mind again and I felt my mood go sour. Why??? Of all the people it had to be my daughter and this innocent angel. I felt so bitter but there was nothing I could do. Fate must always play its part in people's lives and it was always cruel. But a little thing calmed me. For now, Mira would enjoy and the love, peace and security she could get because two years from now. It will be time to do the dirty work and she will have only one person who could help her and be by her side. Aurora....

We could only help her now. But by then.... It will be out of our hands...
