**Mirabelle's POV ***

I felt a light tap on my shoulder. And I turned to see Natashe staring at me. It was obvious that she was trying to wake me up. Oops I must have slept off without me even realising it.

"Uh oh, how long have I been out?? I am so sorry for dozing off..... You must have tapped me so many times."

"Hey its ok. There is no need to apologize. You were exhausted. It's understandable". Natashe answered as she smiled.

"Well I'm here. This is my place. Not so big huhh,"

"It's ok Mira, it's a nice place I'll come pick you up tomorrow. 9 o'clock??"

"Yes it's ok. See you tomorrow then" I said as I hopped out of my car into my lonely apartment.

I had to rest. Today was really eventful and long as well. I had a lot of things to do tomorrow. I went to my room and mulled over the day's events. Wow apparently, I was a model now, found the only family I had, met my favourite model and also had a really good time.

Though I didn't get to see Martinez in as I'd hoped, I knew will see him again very soon.

I thought of about Aurora before I laid in bed and touched our mark. I felt it pulse a little then stop. Hmm how I had missed her. Was she looking for me??

Did she miss me?? The tension of it all was killing me. I was so tensed and I could feel a headache coming. But I had to calm and relax tomorrow was a big day and I remembered my promise to become a powerful person in this world. I won't go back powerless. With this resolve, I felt a bit better and decided to sleep.

***Natashe POV***

I dropped Mira and drove off to the club. I had a lot of things to do tonight and I wanted to get some rest as well. The earlier I started, the sooner I could rest.

***At the Red Club***

"Welcome back mistress. How was your day".

"Oh it was eventful Martinez. Did you get everything I wanted done". I glanced at Martinez as I sat. He knew better than to not complete his tasks.

"Yes I did mistress. I cut off the financial supply of the Stuarts. The children had some sugar daddies around who we just happened to be partners with. I made some arrangements and things were done and as for Mr and Mrs Stuart, their funds and their money source has been closed down. Mr Stuart gambles at different casinos. He's been banned and the wife fired from her job as a sex worker. And as for Miss Kayla, I found out that of recent, she had been struggling with her college fees and house rent. I arranged some things and a job offer was given to her. She will be paid five hundred thousand dollars. Monthly."

"Mmm nice Martinez and good job offer for her. Make sure the rent and the college fees are paid off. Anonymously of course".

"Yes my mistress. All will be done. Is there anything you'd like this evening?".

"A martini and get me the summon stone please. It's high time I got my friend back here with me". I was going to summon a really old friend. We had known each other from childhood. I needed her to be Mira's manager. She knew how the modeling world worked as we had both been in it right from childhood. Mira would need her. Whenever I wasn't available and she wasn't just known for her training. She was the top underground assassin. Both in the human realm and the vampire realm. She had no students and was unmatched in her skills. We trained together but it was clear that had the upper hand so she took the lead. She was going to train Mira. I was going to make my daughter-in-law the strongest. And I sensed that Mirabelle had magical bases but there was a blockage I couldn't get through. This evening while we were in the car, I sensed another presence with her. And when she woke up, she talked with the assumption I had woken her up. But I had just stopped the car then. I never touched her and as for the presence in the car, it didn't give off any harm and when I tried communicating with it, I felt a blockage. Hmm this was weird and strange. Rosa would know about this. She was the only one in the realms who had studied both magic in the realm. The forbidden magic and the light magic. Although she never made use of the forbidden openly, I knew she practiced it. It would explain her unrivaled record. She would know what the presence was and help confirm my suspicions.

***Meanwhile ***

"Where are the gems??"

"I swear I don't know please let me go. I know nothing"

"Too bad honey, I can read your mind and I know that you're lying. How about I send you to the world beyond huhh?? You can send my love to the backup you think is arriving"

"What do you mean lady?? You couldn't have killed them. They....."

"Hahaha, do you think a bunch of ants are enough to scare me?? I will let you off with a warning. I hope you can survive it though"

"Please let me go, if you do, I'll show you where the gems are. Please I have a family".

"Aww look at you. Don't worry about your family honey, they have been notified about your death already. I took the courtesy of doing that for you. Besides I already know where the gems are sweetie."

"I just wanted to play with you a bit. Don't look so scared. I knew from the beginning. It was fun toying with you sweetheart. I sliced his stomach open as he still gaped in surprise. Hmmph bastard thinks he could fool me. I knew from the moment I came in. His mind was such a wreck. The gems were hidden in his stomach. Such a cruel organisation. I pulled them out and put them in my pouch. Time to deliver. I hear my summon stone buzz and I was surprised to see it was Sia. My my was she in the human realm??

Yayyyy I hoped she was. I missed my friend.

"Hello darling"

"My Rose, how did you just send to the world beyond?"

"Oh some random mafia gang. It was a lil bit fun"

"Yikes as weird as ever"

"You still love me baby girl. We're besties for life. Even your so called mate can't get between us."

"Hahaha, of course baby girl. But I need to see you. How soon can you make it here??"

"I'll be there in two hours my baby"

"See ya. Don't die till then"

"Haha you've forgotten baby girl, I can't die. I'm immortal". Sia laughed the ended the call. My Ambrosia was in the city. Woww I must freshen up and see her.

And just like that. I had forgotten all about the blood and gore behind me. Happens all the time. Especially when I thought about Sia......
